They also said I had the cleanest car this month which is such a compliment as I was afraid they were going to find all sorts of dog toys and fries in between the seats. I don't have much interaction with police officers (thank God) but this was definitely my most pleasant experience to date. The second department I spoke to assigned an officer who had no issue assisting me and the issue was resolved immediately. Moral of the story is, if you have a non-emergency request, take your time and energy elsewhere. If you are denied by the Danbury PD, always seek a second opinion.

When he put the label on it was only sticking on one side. So when I went to press it on he yanked it away, like I had no business touching it. I politely told him the label wasn't on all the way. You could plainly see it wasn't. He just ignored me. I felt very disrespected. I was a UPS driver for many years and I've seen those labels pulled off a thousand times. What would it have taken effort wise to please a customer and do the right thing.
