I was getting mail from one previous tenant, I circled the 1 name, and wrote "not at this address."…read more I continued to receive mail for this one previous tenant so i this time I circled his same name and wrote "not at this address for the 100th time." That was clearly enough to make the mail delivery person have a personal vendetta against me. The mail delivery person put an unauthorized hold on my mail, without any communication. I drove down to the post office, collected my mail and told them to remove the un-authorized hold. About a week goes by and I am still not receiving mail. I call them again, with a witness, 3-way conference call and they confirm that there is no hold on my mail. The next day my employer is sending me a picture of my paycheck being returned to them. My father passed away this year in another state, I receive my income via mail. This is completely un-acceptable. I am now in the process of contacting the United States postal inspection service just to receive my mail. I copied and pasted exactly what I have here and my report failed to send, see attached image because I did NOT include any profanity??? sad. I wish I could give them less than 1 star

I am a frequent customer at this postal location. I ship out parcels and receive them equally. I…read morehave NEVER had any difficulties with their service. I have also had to call with questions and inquiries and have ALWAYS gotten an answer between their business hours of 8am-12pm.. Their customer service has ALWSYS been courteous and helpful. I have witnessed on a couple occasions that customers have been extremely rude, curt, and downright nasty to the desk clerk yet the clerk dealt with them in a very polite fashion. For being a small branch post office , I feel they provide excellent service with very limited personnel, which is entirely out of their control as to how the postal service slots the budget for this facility.

Constantly late on package delivery. Drivers are not attempting deliveries that require signature,…read morerather, they just put a slip in the mailbox stating "Sorry we missed you while you were out". This has been a consistent thing, and has delayed delivery of medications, and school or work related materials. This is not acceptable in any way.

Small little post office -- close location to UMD and right next to Mount Royal grocery store…read more There were only 2 clerks working the day that I visited, and the line seemed to move relatively fast... but be prepared to wait a little bit. I was really hoping that there would have been an APC machine here, but the clerk advised that they had to pull the machine out years ago. Basically because this location doesn't do enough volume to warrant a machine. Boo.... the machines are convenient. Anyways... cute, small... slightly retro Post Office.

The package had tracking and the tracking indicated that first delivery was attempted and then when they realized the error, it was returned to the post office to be held. Both my husband and I talked with the supervisor at Mount Royal who was no help. He called the carrier who insisted that the package had been delivered, but our video camera indicates that the package was not among the items being delivered and it was not with that mail when I picked it up from my porch. The supervisor tried to convince me that the package couldn't be scanned because there were lines on the scanning area, though it obviously had been scanned when first received as the tracking was updated. They offered no recourse for tracking down the package, and told my husband to contact the police as it must have been stolen. I asked if it was possible that the package was still at the post office and the supervisor said "maybe" but didn't offer to instigate a search. Basically they took the word of the carrier over the evidence of my camera and my word. Very poor service. Unfortunately, as the only option at this time is the post office, I recommend going private so that there is some accountability.
