I was really hoping that there would have been an APC machine here, but the clerk advised that they had to pull the machine out years ago. Basically because this location doesn't do enough volume to warrant a machine. Boo.... the machines are convenient. Anyways... cute, small... slightly retro Post Office.

The package had tracking and the tracking indicated that first delivery was attempted and then when they realized the error, it was returned to the post office to be held. Both my husband and I talked with the supervisor at Mount Royal who was no help. He called the carrier who insisted that the package had been delivered, but our video camera indicates that the package was not among the items being delivered and it was not with that mail when I picked it up from my porch. The supervisor tried to convince me that the package couldn't be scanned because there were lines on the scanning area, though it obviously had been scanned when first received as the tracking was updated. They offered no recourse for tracking down the package, and told my husband to contact the police as it must have been stolen. I asked if it was possible that the package was still at the post office and the supervisor said "maybe" but didn't offer to instigate a search. Basically they took the word of the carrier over the evidence of my camera and my word. Very poor service. Unfortunately, as the only option at this time is the post office, I recommend going private so that there is some accountability.

There are loooong lines of confused people with the wrong amount of postage or are missing mail or can't pay their rent or have traveled an hour to pick up a package. The clerks are usually the grumpiest people you will encounter all day. Nothing is pleasant or convenient... but not at this post office! The lines might be 4-6 deep but are speedy and not full of negative people. The clerks are always cheerful, helpful and generally positive. The parking lot has the entrance/exit aligned with the drive-up mail boxes that sends me directly to the stoplight for Central Ave. Very convenient!!! And every time I visit I spend $14 on pretty stamps.

Waited around all day and at 6:49pm got an email from Amazon saying the package was delayed due to "delivery attempted, but front door or driveway was not accessible". My driveway was plowed and there was just a dusting of snow, so there was no reason the driver couldn't get to my front door! This is very frustrating. I wait all day and don't get the package I needed. I can't imagine there are that many package deliveries in this area on a Sunday that it would take a driver all day and then they still don't deliver it. I called the main USPS number and was told it was now showing deliver on Wednesday 3 days late! Unbelievable. Was giving the direct number to this location and nobody answers. We deserve better in this area!

They sat on a package that I mailed out of Forest Lake for 3 months. I went back several times to ask them to look for it as it's listed as not sent, they said nope, not here. It was there all along according to tracking. When you get a notice that a package is waiting for you to pickup and you go there they never have it. Then they tell you it's being delivered. Then you get a notice at your mailbox that you have to pickup again. It's like a game. It makes zero sense.

Like today, I unintentionally dropped off some packages and one didn't have a stamp on it. When I called they had it set aside so I can come in and buy stamps for it. Being a small brack means they can give more personal service. The clerks and I actually recognize each other so when a problem arises (like m e failing to put a stamp on a letter, darn me) it can be resolved more easily...I don't get lost in the pile that comes with big post offices. I like Braham (and Rush City) post office branches!

I had a great experience at the UPS store in Rice Lake, WI. I could tell this is a very busy store…read moreby the amount of shipments piling up in the back of the store. Not to mention, I believe the closest store is several miles away. I didn't use this UPS location for shipping service but used them for the Notary service they provide which was just $5. I did call ahead to mark sure they had someone available. I walked into the store and grabbed a spot in line. When it was my turn I asked for the Notary. The nice attendant behind the counter called the notary and actually grabbed a stool from behind the counter for me to sit and wait. I observed the two women behind the counter working and interacting with the steady flow of customers walking in for various things such as shipping, printing copies and finding shipping boxes for shipments. They were both very professional and gave great customer service. The Notary came out a few minutes later, checked my ID, quickly and professionally notarized the document. His name is Vishal I believe. Very friendly and kind. If you're looking to utilize any UPS service, this is a great location.

After leaving the store, my daughter realized she had forgotten to scan an additional parcel that was inside a package she had already processed. While she understands the mistake was her own, the way she was treated when she returned was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. She simply asked if it might be possible to locate the two packages she had dropped off about an hour earlier, which were still in the brown shipping bags with her name on them. Rather than receiving a courteous response, she was met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. Mistakes happen, and she accepted responsibility for hers. What was disappointing was the complete lack of customer service, professionalism, and basic human kindness. A little patience and courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, those qualities were missing from this interaction.
