When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.

When my wife went back to address the issue with the manger, she starts accusing me of cursing and raising my voice. All I did was ask - not that the employee take responsibility, but that the store takes responsibility. This was received as being ridiculous. While I don't like reading a notice that does not state the truth, our leaving was inevitable. Too many instances of poor management.

My office was locked on the weekends, I had no way of knowing whether Greyhound could print out replacement tickets, and none of my neighbors had a printer. What, oh, what was I to do? Alas, I discover a lone print shop in downtown Hartford that opens at 8am on Saturdays, going by the name of FedEx Office. "A true godsend," I find myself thinking. So, I bound into the print shop at the break of dawn, print my ticket in a jiffy, and find my way to Union Station, boarding pass in hand. As it turns out, the Greyhound agents COULD have printed out a replacement ticket for me, and thus I was out $0.13. But knowing that there is a back-up option doesn't hurt and was truly worth the $0.13 sacrifice!
