Either hire people with customer service experience or please close it. It's such a nightmare coming here. Staffs are very rude!

It was finished in 1939, the architecture is called Stripped Classical, the murals (Francis Foy) are lovely and artistically interesting. It's in the registry of historic places, deservedly. It's meant to be reminiscent of an ancient Greek temple. The workers here are great, but maybe not all of the customers so much. Nice selection of stamps, greeting cards, and packing supplies. What travels around the world and yet stays in one corner? A postage stamp!

OK, so the location is a bit shady... And the building…read moredoesn't look like a post office from across the street. I almost doubted google maps for bringing me here when I searched for the nearest post office. The building is old and raggedy, and the inside looks like it could really use some dusting. But, customer service was top notch for me. I don't usually expect good customer service at post offices. And no, this wasn't the kind of service with a friendly smile and how can I help you. It was more of a, "next! Do you need stamps?" kind of service. But I get that at every post office I've been to. So kind of expected. But, the lady working with me was very efficient, and helped me save some bucks by trying out a different box when I didn't ask for any of that. It was very kind. I respect that.
