Really poor experience. The man with glasses and a cross tattoo did not act Christ-like at all. He greeted me with "Sup" and rudely dismissed me as I was figuring out my order. US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Nipomo, California

There's a man who works there who has without a doubt been the worst person I have ever encountered in customer service, period. He has always been extremely unprofessional every time I walk in. He can't even be bothered to say "Hi!" or "Welcome!" or even just smile when you walk in. Instead, he's just staring down at you with the meanest looks as if you are the biggest inconvenience in his life, no matter what you go in for. I've been going in and out of this place for at least 4 years and he is still the same disrespectful man he was when I first talked to him. How he still has his job all these years is beyond me! I don't do anything different in either the AG, Pismo or Santa Maria locations, and these three places have been amazing to me, especially the AG location! I never had an issue in either of these three locations and I make sure to go to either of these three and only go to Nipomo as a last resort. read more

Beware, a man that works at this post office, sorry I did get his name, was extremely rude while I was making my transaction he reached over the counter and touched the key pad indicating I was happy with the service. As a senior citizen I found this behavior alarming and will be reporting him. Please Gard the key pad if you use this post office. Obviously they have a problem with this employee's customer service. Called yesterday at about 5 minutes until 5:00 pm and figured no one would answer. A young man named Donny did. I told him about a package that was missing and he said he'd look into it and get back to me the next day. I figured from the negatives on this page, that I wouldn't hear back. Well I was wrong by 11:30 a.m. Donny called me back and said he had tracked down the package. He is trying to get someone to get it out to me today or at worst case in my mailbox by tomorrow. There is a young man named Mikie or something like that. This guy is the most rudest man I have ever met! Maybe he just doesn't like woman or his job or something, because in 4 years I have NEVER seen this man smile! And not at just me but anyone! When I need help mailing a package this guy will call one of the girls in the back to come out and help me before he will. If he is forced to help me he wil be the biggest ASS I have dealt with. As far as a customer service rep he gets a BIG "F" for failure. It's not just me he is rude to its EVERYONE! Why they don't fire this guy is beyond me. There was a woman that caught me going out the door one day and she made a remark saying "that guy is a REAL DICK!!" Of course I had no choice but to agree. If it wasn't for the young ladies that work there I would have moved my postal needs to Santa Maria or Arroyo Grande. " No joke!" Amazon sent me an email, several text messages and a phone call to inform me that a package I was waiting for had just been delivered to my front door. I have been home all day with the doors and windows open and nobody came by. No packages were left. I called the Post Office immediately and was informed that we had a temp again. Guess they delivered it to someone else or just kept it. The USPS supervisor said she would call me right back. It is 5:20 pm and that did not happen. read more

Unfortunately, this is the post office that's close to our house but I hate this place our driver who does our route as a guy and he comes down our road like a bat out of hell he drive so damn fast but then what really ticks us office he doesn't read the package is that he's delivering he just puts other peoples packages on our package spot and we have to deliver it to where the package goes but what I don't like is the guy who has dark hair he sometimes will drop the package is on the ground and the box will be damaged and what I hate about this post offices they don't have a stupid direct line to them. Ulevida and Caesar regularly help me with my packages. They are extremely kinda and helpful anytime I come in. They both definitely are excellent assets as managers. The front end staff is friendly as well, but both managers go above and beyond!!! read more

Extremely unprofessional and immature people working the counter here. One worker had to go do something else in the middle of helping me ship my package, so he told his female coworker to finish me off and the female coworker made a derogatory sexual comment about it like it was funny. Her coworker next to her even made a comment like she was shocked she had the audacity to say that, and I had my teenage son with me. All I could do was cringe. Then I find out my package was undeliverable and it got mailed to my house. So I took it to UPS and they were able to get the package delivered, and in a professional manner without any sexual inappropriate "jokes." Do better, USPS! read more

Please have the delivery person ring the bell when leaving packages-many people do not go out their front door and packages can be stolen if the resident is not notified of the package being delivered by simply ringing the bell like other delivery services. read more

They lost a $50 Package of mine due to placing the key to the parcel box in the wrong mailbox. They do this often in Trilogy and you lose your mail if people aren't honest. read more

I was going to come on here originally to talk about my recent experience and how poorly it had been handled, but I'm not. Why not? I had been calling the 1800 number, because that had been my only after hours option and it was getting me nowhere, everything changed once I finally was able to speak with someone at my local office. First person I spoke to apologized but offered no solution, the second person simply asked for an explanation of the situation and offered a solution which is all I needed. "Sorry that you had this issue, this is how we are going to fix it" The end. We are lucky to actually be able to call and talk to an actual person and I'm grateful for being able to do that. read more
