I love mail plus. They just let people drop all their used boxes and shipping supplies. The supplies take over their office making it all sorts of disarray. Which, for me would be a deal breaker as a business owner. My store is cluttered AND I lose the profit of shipping supply sales?! They are clearly nicer then me. Then they let you pick through it when you need to ship stuff. So, i just packed a bunch of stuff with all sorts of packing material. Probably $40-50 bucks worth of shipping stuff for free. Yahoo. Love to recycle! Yayyyyy! Im all for recycling somewhere I KNOW the item will get reused and not put in land fill, plus I get to reap the benefits of using it when I need it later on. Im stoked about the savings and about the opportunity to reuse! Gets me all giddy lol. Super impressed with Mail Plus! Oh, incase that wasn't enough, they are super helpful. When I go to the post office to ship overseas to a Military APO address, or anywhere, for that matter, the PO staff just isnt very helpful. I dont have the right forms, or they are impatient helping me find the cheapest way to ship. Not at MAIL Plus! They automatically look up the cheapest way AND they filled out all the forms needed FOR ME! Its not like they werent busy either, they just made my experience a priority. Incase you did not know, Mail plus represents UPS FedEx and United States Postal Service. So it's pretty awesome to go to one spot, ship from there, and know that you are getting the best rate since they can look at all options! Hey folks, Just a plug here for our local Mail Plus down on Price St. in Pismo's downtown. (Same block as the Cracked Crab and Puffers.). I went in late yesterday too mail a package, expecting a long line. The extremely nice team of two women helped me immediately, packed my shipment in a box while I was paying, and I received a confirmation email that arrived before I returned home. Amazing, plus I got a few laughs with them for free! Finally, they educated me about shipping prices. I'd been going to the post office to ship boxes, assuming that the USPS must certainly be the most economic way. But they informed me otherwise and I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive it was to ship through their recommendation. Plus the package will arrive on MONDAY, after shipping on THURSDAY. All in, it was about $25 to ship a 7lb box and they didn't charge me for the outer box they put it in. What a better alternative than the usual long line and high prices at the usual shipping places! read more

Recently I found a job opening at a business where I've wanted to work for several years. The employer requested me to FAX a cover letter and a resume immediately. The rush was on to update my resume. My old computer began acting up, and I knew I urgently needed help. I was stressed! When Teri heard about my dilema, she said, "Come on in, and we'll get it taken care of when you get here." Teri made changes to my resume that gave it a more professional appearance. Do not trust your important shipments with this company. I had a package dropped off at noon yesterday to be delivered FedEx 2nd day air. When I checked the status today there was no record of the shipment on the FedEx website. I called and spoke to the manager who advised me that they still have the package and it will go out a day late! They had my phone number but did not attempt to call me. When I asked what happened they blamed Fedex. WRONG! It is their responsibility to give the package to the Fedex driver. The manager blamed Fedex saying it was not taken with the other shipments. When I asked if they would pay to get me the shipment overnight since I needed it tomorrow the guy said no way it was not his fault. What a complete lack of customer service and what a bad attitude this company has. I would never write such a harsh review of a small business but then again I have never had such a bad experience. What a difference a simple phone call would have made if they just advised me of the situation. Mistakes do happen but it's how you handle them that makes the difference in any business. Avoid this business at all costs as they are clueless. read more

Typically a mail box rental, notary and shipping business doesn't really call to mind "fun", but somehow the always-smiling Mrs. Teri Bayus and her staff always make a necessary stop seem like a social visit. We regularly use Mail Plus for our business mail-outs, returns and so forth. But where her and her staff really shine is when advising you which last-minute shipping option will be the most cost-effective while also getting the parcel to the right place on time. And since I am almost running in the door with my parcels the day AFTER they should have been shipped, boxed in the wrong package and with a partial address, her staff has to be credited with an endless amount of patience. They package and ship wine, and even made it so my Gifts destined for Alaska arrived in time for Christmas! I have recommended her Notary services for clients, friends and family and she is available, thorough and timely. Every year I send stockings to soldiers overseas through Operation Santa and it costs us several hundred dollars in shipping alone each time. However, Mail Plus charges me their cost to ship and supplied me with all of the boxes for free, saving me on average $500...Every year Kristal is very helpful and totally cooperative in helping me achieve our goal of taking care of these Marines. Isabel is also amazing and has been very helpful over the years! We have been doing this for ten years and the folks at Mail Plus have been helping us for the last six of those years.
