If you show up around lunch time, you're guaranteed to get stuck in a ridiculously long line that will likely extend out the door. As far as the employees, they've always been incredibly friendly and helpful when I have questions. The biggest drawback about this location is that it attracts a ton of people in University City, but isn't large enough to accommodate all the people that come by. I will say, based on the types of questions and concerns people come in with, the employees really do deserve a round of applause because they handle the strangest, most unusual, situations with a lot of professionalism and respect. And for what it's worth, I've never had a package or letter go missing when I've mailed from this location.

There's greeting cards if you really need them, shipping supplies for last-minute packing, and it's clean at this location. There are two entrances, one from the street, the other via the building lobby. This office isn't open weekends, but thankfully there are other USPS locations nearby. Haven't had any long waits here, and the staff have been nice to me. I don't have complicated needs, and I don't think I'm complicated to deal with, so your mileage may vary.

They'll take packages that are prepaid and metered. There's no receipts. The services are EXTREMELY LIMITED. The staff is not pleasant, which is somewhat understandable from their surroundings. If you need most services from the post office, you need to go to a branch, such as the location on Fairmount Avenue- a five minute drive. Parking is scarce at both locations.
