After looking at the situation in more detail it appears this excessive markup seems to only apply to Sunday delivery. Through Fed Ex a Sunday delivery by noon 111.44 and through Pack and pay a lot, it would have been in excess of $300. Pack a Pay a lot charged us 102.85 for a Monday by 8pm which is Standard Overnight and Fed Ex would have charged 98.14, which isn't much of a price difference.

My eternal gratitude goes out to that "charming" branch supervisor--the one with the exquisite effeminate- "juvenile-stuck-up-mean-girl" voice and demeanor. He's single-handedly convinced me that the Republican Party might actually have a point I agree with. The USPS needs more accountability and should be overhauled. You see, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to send a perishable birthday gift to my dear 68-year-old brother in Missouri, a man whose health is, shall we say, in a "robust" state of decline. Being a person of "vast" wealth (permanently disabled amputee, less than $1,500 a month income and can't even afford a plane ticket, bless my heart), I simply had to get creative. So, I selflessly saved my money, and eventually purchased a new KITCHEN AID stand mixer (and a tube cake pan from Goodwill) - a small investment for such a "monumental" gesture - and, defying all culinary odds, taught myself to bake. I figured the mixer would be a good investment for future baking opportunities in order to save money. After a mere **twelve hours or more** of working over a hot oven in July, I produced an Angel Food cake (his favorite) and exactly 69 homemade blueberry cookies (healthier cookie). Because nothing says "happy birthday" like 69 individually wrapped and packed homemade cookies, right? Then came the pièce de résistance: four glorious hours of packaging. And for this masterpiece of brotherly affection, I "splurged" a paltry $90 on Priority Mail (because speed, obviously!) and an extra $30 for dry ice. A grand total of **$120** - pocket change for a man of my financial standing, really. His birthday, a mere trifle of an event, was July 9th. I dispatched my treasure on July 5th, expecting a swift, reliable delivery. Fast forward to today, July 10th, and oh, the suspense! Where is my meticulously crafted, highly perishable, financially crippling gift? Why, it's still enjoying the picturesque views of ""Seattle"", exactly where it was on July 5th. It's truly a testament to their efficiency. Naturally, I called the post office, eager for an update, and was "blessed" with the opportunity to speak to this "junoir-high-school-girl-in-the-mean-clique" supervisor. His insight was truly breathtaking: he "regurgitated" the tracking information I already had in front of me. When I, ever so politely, inquired if he could offer an "actual" update, he, in a moment of pure, unadulterated genius, asked "me" how he was supposed to do that. After several rounds of this scintillating intellectual sparring, where I humbly suggested that perhaps "his" job entailed, you know, "knowing things", he, with a flourish of what I can only describe as peak customer service, "hung up on me." So now, here I am, blissfully ignorant of my cake's decomposition status and my cookies' fungal progression. But hey, at least I provided a heartwarming anecdote of government efficiency and profound human interaction. Oh, the joy! * FIVE STARS I recommend this Post Office for the service. I have never had any problems with any other employees at this post office. They are the utmost professionals and have excellent customer service skills. P.S. I feel like most of the reviews posted here are talking about USPS as an entity and not so much the…read morelocation itself. So, I'll start by saying I love USPS. Great service, lovely architecture in every location I've been to, every carrier I've had has been lovely. As for this location? Go to any other post office in the county. I've only seen two people behind the counter, and of the two I will say that the woman is lovely. The man talks to people like he'd rather watch them take their own life than continue the transaction for another second. During my most recent visit he got mad at me for "not following the directions on screen" after the card reader had an error. I inserted my card, the reader had an error and said to remove it, and so I did. This happened directly in front of him and he got mad at me for a mistake the machine made. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, I've worked customer service before, it's draining at the best of times I understand, maybe every day I've encountered him he's had a bad day, but good lord dude. If you know when to go in to get anyone else it's a perfectly fine location, but if I see him behind the counter next time I'm just going to UPS.

Agreed on $150 for two services, after the fact, charged junk "Affidavit Fee", "Mileage" fees,…read moredespite having the full scope of the ask before hand. Also charged a certified mail fee that I don't agree with either, but a bit more understandable if there was confusion on whether that that should have been included. Don't have the time/patience to debate. I paid and moved on, but definitely expect bait-and-switch.

Two clerks on duty and both were unable to answer any questions re shipping to Japan under new CBP…read moreand tariff regulations. The "supervisor" said one only "...needs to worry if the package is going to Mexico." As I was trying to clarify this, both employees abruptly rushed away to show a reoccurring customer that he could set his package down in the same place as he always does. I ended up sending my parcels from the FedEx store in Silverdale and will continue to use them for future shipments. It is difficult to support a small, local business when the employees are ignorant re the services they provide, but are rude to customers as well.

Went here to see about shipping a special package that needed a specific sized box. They had a…read morevariety of sizes and the sweet lady was able to find a box that was just 1" wider than the package I needed to ship. It was perfect! She was very helpful in her advice about shipping options starting with the Best Value (time and price) per Carrier. She then made sure the package was secure in the box and taped it up tightly. This is the 2nd time I've been in here and both times the service was excellent! Very nice place, clean, organized, efficient and helpful.
