When I stated I'd really rather do it myself she got offended and accused me of saying I didn't trust her to do it. I told her that even though I was in a rush I could still take care of it myself. I have received nothing but rude service from this woman in particular since a package was misplaced there last year. When I went to that location as directed by USPS customer service, she was defensive and rude to me even though THEY had lost the package. Now every time I go in I am treated rudely and with hostility. This location is the most convienent for me, and I will no longer be going due to this woman whom I believe is supposed to be a manager. No excuse for her attitude and behavior.

They forged my signature and dropped the box in front of my door in a black plastic bag. Opened the bag the box is soaking wet and smelled like vinegar. Took it back to the post office the next day and explained to the supervisor, it was delivered signature required I never signed and presented her the box inside the plastic bag. She whispered to the teller "those are MTA uniforms" then tells me they had an entire shipment of boxes that came to them wet. Yet instead of sending them back and saying it was damaged in transit they decided to send them to me. Because of my connections I called another post office and had them run the tracking number and I was told "someone signed it as if they were you and they spelled your first name wrong" . Isn't that a federal offense? The supervisor sent it back "refused" so, now I have to call the uniform company and tell them what happened and let them know to look out for the damaged box and to resend the uniforms to me once they receive the package. I have so many horror stories from this post office including my income tax check never made it to me and it was cashed. IRS did an investigation sent me another check. That one was cashed too but, yet it made it to the post office both times. I'm over them.

Update/ July 2026…read more When you think this location can't get any worse, at 4pm on a Tuesday there's a single clerk and I've been in line for over 15 mins and judging by how slow the line is moving I'll probably be here for another 30 mins just to drop off a labeled package. They don't even have a window for drop offs. This is a true illustration of Bayonne, a town that got stuck in the 80s and simply doesn't want to move forward.

Ah, my old neighborhood post office. It's a post office. Lines can be long. They close early on…read moreweekends. If you need to go pick up a package, it's hit or miss depending on how crowded it is and how well-staffed they are that day. Basically, this is a general review of all post offices.
