I made an appt online to get my passport. Super easy! I arrived and was greeted by a WONDERFUL associate. She was fantastic from start to finish. I had previously gotten a picture at UPS and the background was not white per protocol and she explained their error and she took a new picture! This is a nice, serviceable post office. It's clean with a large parking lot, the workers are polite, and it has a very large post office box selection. We've been coming here weekly since January and have never had a problem. read more

Exceptionally Friendly but very slow lines. Went to mail a package to California at lunch today and the lines take forever. They are very friendly and helpful but take at least 5 minutes with each customer which while friendly and helpful is appreciated, does not help much if you're on a tight lunch schedule. That said, would be great if I had more time. read more

I was leaving Statesville on Old Mocksville Hwy, beyond the Food Lion on E. Broad. A mail carrier had just delivered mail at the new fire station near Bell Farm Road. The carrier had stopped, I assumed to wait for traffic to pass; but, when I approached, the carrier pulled out in front of me, forcing me to slam on brakes. I sat on my horn (which I probably shouldn't have), and this angered the carrier. When he/she got to the next box, he stopped short, before the box, forcing me to slam on brakes again. I almost rear-ended his vehicle. This carrier shouldn't be on the road. I wanted to report the driver to the PO, but, as it's Saturday, they're closed. I will definitely call Monday. read more

It's okay. Some of the employees at the counter are excellent and some are the devil. Depends on who you get. I was verbally insulted by one a few years back so I avoid this office. Go to another location if you have anything other than dropping or picking up a package. Also, bought a house and it took 2 years to get the mail delivery established. After filling out the green form 4 times and numerous phone calls I had to go there and ask for a manager. My mail carrier has one job, deliver mail and she can barely do it. In fact she recently stopped driving to my house to deliver packages because she does not like my driveway. Anything that does not fit in my box I have to physically go to the post office for. Again she has one job. She can barely do it. I go to the next town over and rent a post office box there. That's how bad it is. read more

I frequent this location at least monthly but sometimes more often. The staff are most often friendly and helpful. I mainly purchase money orders and stamps here and then of course, I mail out the money orders to their recipients. There can be a line at certain times of the day and it is important to know the hours. There really is not much to complain or brag about for this location. This is just your typical post office providing general USPS services and there is Passport services on certain days. I utilize this location because it's close to my house. read more

Pink we missed you slip thumbsupthumbsdown Hello I live on N Bost st and once again I've have gotten one of those pink we missed you first attempt slips. Mind you right now I work from home in my living room l.. so I would know if someone knocked on the door to try and give me said letter that needs a signature. But wait this isn't the first time this has happened. And when I called they said " My carriers wouldn't do they they do their jobs correctly" Um no they don't 1. They don't like getting out of there little buggy's 2. I personally have seen them not deliver mail because they have to get out! Someone please help me! The people who work in there have always been friendly until their recent 'diversity hire.' Rolls eyes at the customers and not friendly at all. We also, and our neighbors, have an ongoing problem with the wrong mail being left at the wrong house. Constantly have to put it back in box - this has included sensitive bank information, so it's kind of shocking. We have had important mail lost in the mail also. Time to turn it over to a private company who can run it more like UPS. read more

I frequently visit this post office on Oakland Ave. The staff is always helpful and they work hard to make sure you have a great experience when you visit.They do a fantastic job. I do believe the landscaping needs to be spiffed up a bite. There are weeds winding their way through the bushes (which have not been trimmed either), no weed eating in a while. The side where you drop off mail looks like a waste land in the dessert. It appears no attention has been given to the grass to make it grow properly. When I am looking for the turn off I always look for the rusted chain link fence out front. Come on people this is the US Post Office. I am only giving the appearance a three.
