Lobby is spacious with abundant natural light from the windows, row after row of mail boxes on the interior walls, and a copier station left around the corner as you come in. If you weren't raised by wolves (or otherwise technology-averse) you might consider having a go at the self-serve kiosk thing to buy stamps, print labels, send packages, and all that sort of stuff; it's just like a video game except you actually accomplish something when you're done. The on-screen instructions can walk you through any of the available processes but if you need more or different help there's people for that too. The counter area is kinda spooky because it's got theft deterrent gates up for I don't know why (there's signage up about how armed robbery of a post office or post officer is a really bad idea so use discretion here.) If you require personal assistance please be prepared to conduct your business when you get to the counter; it makes the postal experience a little bit better for all of us! yea for having a clue! If you just want to complain, well there's probably a venue for that too but use your inside voice and try to be polite.

I presume the ee's just do what a they wish when they wish and to h___ w/ the tax payers who pay for their services. Ironically the very mail not picked up in my mailbox right now is a payment to the IRS. I am sick of local, state, and federal ee's. So many are all but worthless and would rather just have their pay checks sent to their house while their responsibilities remain unmet. No ability to leave a voicemail, nothing. Again Saturday morning I called as soon as they opened twice back to back and no answer and ability to leave a voicemail. This is extremely frustrating- especially when trying to figure out if you have a package sitting at the office, or if you need to take off work to be home to sign for it.

There is not an automated weighing and vending machine here. Move into Trilogy on Tuesday and I had three packages I wanted to sent to my Children (1) in…read moreCalifornia and (2) in Georgia. Took a little hunting to find it because it is not on the main drag and you don't see the sign indicating Post Office till you turn off Business Hwy 16 onto Denver Rd. Normally the Priority Medium Sized and for that matter, all sized Boxes and Mailers and a bit removed so that you can grab them and go. There was a rack for Priority Mail Boxes in the Lobby. I would not have been surprised to find one size empty but all small, both medium and the large size were empty. There was not a single box or mailer in the stand. Called back after we left and notified them that they were empty. One I could understand but not all. They did apologize and say they would take care of. Meanwhile, looks like on Monday, I'm driving back to Cornelius where we just move from to pick up medium Priority Boxes and then back to mail them.

I've never had to ship a painting cross country, so here I am thinking 'oh I'll just wrap it good and pop it in a envelope right?
