A package has been lost at the Warner St facility. I filed a service request, but a local supervisor summarily closed the request prior to locating the package. This supervisor will not answer his phone, nor will he respond to emails. I was new to the area right before COVID hit. In the middle of it, BF left to CA for job. The clerks were amazing. Helpful, even with long lines and social distancing. And any time I go, they are friendly and helpful and answer all my questions and deal with my anxiety and ADHD forgetfulness with aplomb. I haven't been this comfortable with a post office since having a tiny one in my small town where they knew us personally. I still go there even though I've moved 30 minutes away now. read more

I don't have a problem with any of the clerks, as they can only do what they can with minimal staffing. To add to that, be prepared to wait a LONG time to get to the counter. If you're lucky the person(s) ahead of you are only there to pick up their mail, but if they are there to discuss delivery issues then you may be waiting who knows how long. Again, it's not really the clerk's fault, as only one clerk is available to handle BOTH pick-ups and delivery problems. One other issue that ticks me off, however, is not with the post office itself, but with customers, who, after picking up their mail, take it upon themselves to sit in their car and non-chalantly read their mail while others wait for a parking space, and this has happened to me on numerous occasions, and it is extremely irritating to see this happen. The parking lot is very small and therefore, has limited space available, and it is very rude and selfish to sit in one's car reading mail when it could be done at a later time, and cars are backing up waiting for a parking space. read more

One attempt was made to deliver the parcel between 9am and 2pm. Regular mail is delivered before 10am when I am home. The carrier did not knock on my ground floor apartment door facing the bank of mailboxes six full strides away. No second attempt was made during the days the parcel was at the station. USPS should stick with delivering no-brainer junk mail; it is competent at that. USPS "Final Notice" uses miniscule 8-point font size for the tracking number; nearly illegible filling less than half of the available space. Initially the redelivery site asks for "parcel;" then asks for "package;" which is it? Providing the zip code in two fields is lousy design. USPS may collect "research;" it is evident USPS does not analyze the collection nor act on analysis results. USPS is the poster child of customer disservice.. read more

This branch is not a real post office and is run by idiots. Their hours and phone numbers are not posted online. Here are ways to call them if you have any issues: 253-320-7235 " " -7234 -7237 -7230 -7236 Completely inept staff and carriers. Without any notice, our mail stopped being delivered to our house. We did assume it was because our dog had been out in the front yard a few times and had barked at the mail carrier. No note or conversation was had between us and our mail carrier, though. We have a fence out front, and it would've been easy to stick a note about this in our fence. When I contacted this branch, I was informed that our mail was on a "dog hold," and that I would need to come in and fill out a form. When I drove down there, the front desk employee repeatedly went back to his supervisor to double-check about the "dog hold" paperwork. He confirmed to me that because it was the first incident, I wouldn't need to fill out paperwork. Jump to a week later. Our mail was delivered one day this week, and then stopped again. Our dog has been inside all week, so another incident didn't happen. I tried calling this facility multiple times, on multiple numbers and received no answer. When someone (Danielle) FINALLY answered, I was informed that my mail was on a "dog hold." Deja vu? It sure felt like it! I told her the whole story, and she replied that I had been given incorrect information and that I still needed to fill out the paperwork. I made that phone call at 1:30 on Saturday. Did she mention that they close at 2? Nope. When I drove down there, they were already closed. Rage. When I went in on Monday, the "supervisor" came out to speak with me. Apparently, someone was supposed to have hand-delivered the paperwork and had a conversation with us about our dog being out. When I asked why that hadn't happened, his response was, "That was our bad." Uh, ya I guess so. This branch doesn't have any phone numbers posted online that work, so it's challenging to get in contact with them. This was such a joke. These people are complete buffoons. What the HELL? USPS Letter Carrier Facility. Doesn't send stuff, doesn't sell stuff. You can basically only pick things up from here, so don't go here trying to mail anything. The nearest mailing facility is the Evergreen Facility just up the street at 4001 S. Pine St. From here take a RIGHT out of the parking lot, a RIGHT on 38th St, a RIGHT on Pine St, and a LEFT into the parking lot. read more

I have had multiple packages that were not even attempted to be delivered. We have watched the truck drive, then checking the tracking, it says the package was undeliverable! Had a package sent to my last address and instead of the people sending it back to sender, they kept it or threw it away. I called the manager of the apartments, she couldn't get ahold of them, so I called this facility and they were so helpful. They tracked the mail man down that delivered it, and he went out of his way to go back and he got the package back. I got a call saying he got it and I could get it in 10 min. He dropped it off and I picked it up. So happy they worked with me and got me what I needed. Thank you! read more

I am an avid customer since my husband entered basic training for navy and when he finally graduated I was always sending boxes and only time I got a return is because of her stupidity. I asked her many times if I should redo the name and label she told me would be fine and ignored my concerns. She hates me a lot heck if she wants a military guy too should befriend me instead like wtf really she should understand every mail is important especially my husband being so far away. She hates me all the damn time even when I spend so much and try to still be polite after all this time sending mail using their service. Dogs or no dogs the idiot who delivers packages lies. When I checked on line to track my package it showed two delivery attempts on the same day and it says a notice was left both times. Maybe on the first attempt but not on the second, at the time it said the second delivery attempt was made I was home, in my front yard cleaning out my flower beds and NOONE came by, I was out there for almost 2 hours. Also NO notices were left.
