Like most Portland USPS shipping clerks, the staff was cheerful and friendly to the point of sometimes gabbing with customers while others wait in line and no one seems to mind (this is a rare gift, Oregonians. Read Brukowski's "Post Office" or ask yourself where the slang term "going postal" comes from, if you don't believe how surly and unhappy postal workers are in most other states). However, I've lived in the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood for over a decade now, and I have to say that it's probably the worst carrier service I've ever had in my entire life. I can't count how many times I've done their job for them, personally delivering mail to neighbors or people I don't know blocks away after it ends up in my box for some unknown reason. It's happened so many times over the years I think I deserve a tax deduction or government stipend check for my efforts (although the check would probably be delivered to the wrong address most likely, so I'd take the deduction if offered, ha ha). I almost don't want to post this in fear of never getting any mail again if someone from that distribution center actually reads this, but if they don't know what's really going on with their carrier service that would be just as bad for everyone in my neighborhood.

Unfortunately we did not receive the great same service. The original owner sold the business and the standard of service has really dropped. My first clue should of been how unprofessionally the phone was answered. The woman who answered the phone sounded distracted, not sure of what she was doing and kept asking someone next to her the answers to my questions. The second red flag was the so called inspection which consisted of an invoice with one line stating "Septic seems to be working." After we moved into the house a week later we could smell the septic, which wasn't there before. I called Muck to ask questions/advice, once again I got the same woman who didn't have a clue and she proceed to tell me, "oh something must be wrong with the septic." I said, you just inspected it and you told us everything was okay and now you're telling me something is wrong! She started to back pedal what she told me and said she would send someone out to have a look. I asked her to call me when the person came out so I could see what was going on. Three weeks and no one ever turned up and no phone call. I called them again, the same woman told me oh we went out and had a look and everything was fine. I asked her, how did you get back there with a locked gate and septic tank that's under a deck with a large stone table on top it? Again, she promised me they would come out on the Friday, surprise, surprise no one turned up! I would not recommend Muck to anyone, quality of service is very poor, the don't stand by their work and they are either absent-minded or lairs.

They carefully laid out protective barriers on the floors, doors and walls. When it was finally time to get a new washer, Lance and Sandy were no longer selling appliances, just repairing them. But he told me where to get a Maytag, and it was a good recommendation. When I sold my home I gave the buyer Lance and Sandy's contact info and my recommendation. I now live in a great care center. The owner does a large amount of laundry every day. She also has valued Lance's help for many years.

I've heard of many friends who are still waiting on headstones for loved ones 2 and 3 years later but this wasn't the case with Jessee Monuments. It was ready within 3 months ,I believe, of finalizing the plan. While I don't have a lot of experience with this to compare pricing, it seemed very reasonable. I would highly recommend her!
