I read reviews about this location that included some crazy things about the staff yelling at you and disrespecting women. Turns out--they were right! The man in the photographs shared on Yelp is indeed still employed by the government. He seemed used to talking back to customers and told a nice lady to "Calm down" when she got frustrated that they weren't able to accommodate a money order purchase. This man needs to be reported, but according to him, his "supervisor isn't in today". Dude needs to get a grip. Your job is inherently stressful, I get it, but NOT at the detriment to the decency and respect someone deserves to be treated with regardless. read more

"The East Indian gent doesn't know the basics of his job and has to call upon his coworkers to complete most functions. (He's a representative most customers try to avoid like the plague, but easier said than done.) Today this nitwit refused to send a box of books via media mail for me, though I've sent books via media mail through this post office before. He said that only "tax books" could be sent via media mail. I asked if that meant my other packages (books) were sent in error via media mail, and he then barked at me to hit the screen to "continue ... continue ... continue." Afterwards, I called the USPS customer service number on the receipt and was informed that the nitwit was a hundred-percent wrong about the media-mail procedure. My complaint has been lodged and will be forwarded to the Rt 33 Post Office, so that the nitwit can be enlightened." read more

Another horrible experience, was dropping off 2 pre paid packages and got yelled at and told to take them to the one on rt 130. People were dropping off 6 boxes and more and they didn't have that same energy with them. Few people here are nice, most are very rude and unprofessional. read more

Very rude & unprofessional staff. Older white gentleman made very inappropriate remarks as I was leaving frustrated that nobody could find my package that I dropped off for shipment 4 weeks prior. Threatened to take my phone as I was recording him being rude towards me. read more

Now that I know this Post Office station is here, I will be sure not to use it again. The wait in the afternoon with only one worker behind the counter will absorb an hour and leave you feeling abused. There is management walking around, but they don't bring anyone out to help despite the obvious need, nor do they step in to relieve the bottleneck. The technology is only as good as the training received, and it seemed that the customer interactions were taking longer than the old fashioned way of reaching for stamps. Anything out of the ordinary becomes a production. My request to send an international letter created a choke point. I could feel the wrath of the folks lined up behind me. Very sorry! They may have figured out how to compete for deliveries with the privates, but they still can't handle the face to face on the home front. read more

Unless you like getting YELLED AT for asking questions, AVOID this place like the plague! I wanted to open a PO Box for my 84 yr old mother who is in a nursing home. I was told my mother MUST be present. Well, several years ago I opened a PO Box for mom in Pennsylvania using my Power of Attorney with NO problem. But at THIS Post Office, if you are disabled or in a nursing home and not able to get to the Post Office, you have NO RIGHT to have your Power of Attorney open a PO Box for you. NOT very American to me. I told the man that I had mom's Power of Attorney with me. He said maybe Supervisor Barb would "approve it" and that if I wanted to talk to her I should come back at 3pm. I came back at 3pm. When it was my turn in line, the gentleman remembered me and told Barb why I was there. As I approached the counter, right off the bat, she looked me up and down with disdain. Like she didn't want to deal with me. I handed her the form I filled out online, and told her I wanted to open a PO Box for my mother who is in a nursing home. She handed the form back to me and told me that I had to put the PO Box in my name and add her as a second user. I told her I didn't want the PO Box in my name, and that I had no problem in Pennsylvania getting mom a PO Box in her name. I asked her if there are different rules in different states. She said there were, but I am skeptical about that. I told her I had mom's Power of Attorney and she said it didn't matter to her for opening a PO Box. WHAT? Supervisor Barb went on to say that the "mail man" might want to see the Power of Attorney when delivering her mail. I asked her what does a "mail man" have to do with a PO Box. I asked her if a "mail man" was going to come to my house demanding to see the Power of Attorney before delivering mom's mail to her PO Box. That's absurd. She started YELLING at me telling me "I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU THIS AGAIN, YOU HAVE TO OWN THE BOX, NOT YOUR MOTHER." "AND THE MAIL MAN WILL WANT TO SEE THE POWER OF ATTORNEY." That's just crazy and makes no sense. A customer came over, but apparently didn't hear the entire conversation, because he told me all I had to do was bring in a Power of Attorney. I showed it to him. He was shocked. He asked what Supervisor Barb was yelling about then. Barb heard him and started YELLING AT ME AGAIN. I am a 65 yr old woman who walks with a cane, but I am NOT a feeble person. I could have ripped her a new one, but I am above that. My conclusion on Supervisor Barb is that: 1) I still wear a KN95 mask. I believe Supervisor Barb is an anti-masker and this was a trigger for her. 2) She is a bully. So unless you enjoy being abused, STAY AWAY. read more

The attendants were very helpful and help me uncover an issue I had with a package being returned to me. Had plenty of packing supplies to buy and the prices were fair. The attendants were eager to help and made a very good impression on me. I will define be back for all my postal needs. read more

It's a post office, sometimes you have to wait, sometimes you don't. Overall though, I've found the employees to always be helpful, and friendly and I'm there at least a couple times a month. I've noticed they sometimes rotate employees between branches because I've walked into the post office near my work to see on of the employees who normally works at Hamilton and he recognized me. read more

Horrible service, very slow. They lost my package and they could care less. I lost $71 dollars because of them and they just don't care. Manager Greg has horrible attitude problem. Do yourself a favor and go to another branch. read more

I went there to post a package and pick up some stamps. The older Indian gentleman Kirit was polite and greeted me in Hindi. He was knowledgeable and then he started discussing Indian politics, in Hindi. After listening to his tirade, and not wanting to spend any more time than necessary at the post office, I asked him (in English) if he was allowed to discuss politics in the work place. I switched to English halfway through the conversation because I needed to get the stamps, and I had a question about using the label I had used, etc. He continued to berate me in Hindi even after I said this was not what I came to the post office for. He told me, that he was allowed to discuss politics (still in Hindi), and it was discussed freely in the country and there was nothing I could do to stop him from speaking about politics. I don't think I will be returning. Are federal employees allowed to discuss politics with customers? I've got friends for that. :-) And everyone gets to air their views not be lectured to. read more
