This location employs, perhaps the laziest group of entitled public servants I've ever encountered. Despite the size of this location and number of employees you'd be lucky to be able to catch Miss Danine when she isn't taking a sick day to help you with something more than buying stamps, or find a counter clerk who will accept your package with a prepaid label. read more

I do realize that Monday 10/14/2024 was a holiday, but I nor anyone on CAMP AVE, Hamilton, NJ received any mail on Tuesday 10/15/2024 - would someone like to explain why as this is not the 1st time that our entire street had NO delivery of mail, I did receive a bit on Wednesday 10/16/2024, but here it is again on Thursday 10/17/2024 and NO mail. . . Do your mail people just decide that they are tired and just bring the truck back and go home. I truly want some answers as to why Camp Avenue is being overlooked when it comes to the delivery of mail. Trust me the mail carriers have a very nice salary, pension, benefits, etc just do your damn job and deliver my mail. . . . . read more

This review is from a couple of months ago. Had to send something in the mail, but always kept missing the operating hours. So I was in the area and decided to drop in this P.O. Although they were closed, they had a self-service machine (pay & print shipping labels), a counter and an area with USPS materials to send Express/Priority mail as well. They have an inside mail/parcel drop. The lobby area is open 24-hours, well lit, clean, and is an excellent place to send your mail/parcel after normal operating hours. I know I'll be using this location again as holiday season is here. read more

JVS I sell tiny, fragile items on ebay, and my packages are small and average 5-6 ounces. Two of the postal workers are very nice, but one keeps insisting that I use the self-service kiosk to drop off my prepaid packages. I told her I didn't want to do that because my packages are small and very light and I don't want someone dropping packages of 10 pounds or more on top of mine in the self-service opening. Also, I need a valid receipt to show I have actually left packages at the post office. I can only get that from a postal worker. The self-service machine "scan does not constitute a service or delivery guarantee." Today the worker told me again I had to use the self-service machine for my two packages. When I told her I didn't want to, she left the room. There was another postal worker at the counter, so he took my prepaid packages and checked them in. It took him no time at all. I hope he didn't get into any trouble because the woman came back with another woman to confront me. I just left then. So, why are prepaid ebay packages a problem? They certainly take less time to do than packages that need postage. How can this post office allow this worker to deny service to a customer? read more

This is a busy post office servicing a very large geographic area. The counter people are friendly and efficient at getting people through quickly ( or as quickly as possible). Usually never a problem with parking. It could be a bit dangerous for exiting the facility to Klockner Rd. They should consider a Rt 130 S exit. I was there to renew my passport. I had an appointment, but still ended waiting an extra 35 minutes until they were ready. Once they received all the documents, they made it easy. After I complained to the USPS Consumer Care Center in Edison, NJ, the postal workers started taking my packages and giving me receipts. Today, however, when I brought in my two small prepaid packages and asked for a receipt, the postal worker said she was not going to give me a receipt because I had to use the self-service kiosk. It would have taken her SECONDS to wand in my two packages but she refused to do so. I took my packages and left. So, the DRAMA continues. How can the post office be allowed to do this? read more

made an appointment for passport with photo- get to post office and they said there's nobody there to do passports and i need to go to another office- so why did the system let me make an appointment?????? oh the system still lets you make appointments but they still don't have anyone to do the passports! This Post Office refuses to check in your items even though you wait in line and want to do it. They say it's due to Covid but it's just being lazy. All the time it takes for them to say they won't scan your item in, they could have scanned it in already. It's absolutely outrageous how they want me to leave a package on the side of a desk and let anybody steal it! The Post Office on Route 33 has a broken package drop since before Thanksgiving, see the picture I posted and then they want you to drive all the way to Route 130 where they refuse to scan it in there either! Disgusting! And this is after I pay for postage and they still refuse to scan it in!! I don't understand why they will not scan my item in. It protects me and them when they do it. Blaming it on the pandemic when there's not a soul in the building in line. Do your job. Some of the employees are fantastic but others, words can't even express it. I am getting ready to file a complaint in Washington DC against the Post Office because of their lack of scanning in an item. I don't need to be a postmaster to know that you're almost in bankruptcy and your system isn't working so at least try to make your customers happy and make them want to come back instead of making them never want to step foot in your building again. I literally haven't taking things to the UPS store instead of the Post Office because of their horrifying service. And most are just doing what their horrible manager tells them to do it's really not the employees fault but sometimes it is they're lazy. What someone told me to do is not even to put postage on the package at all, let them do it and then they will really have to work instead of just having to scan in my item for peace of mind that my item has been received!! For me this is a very convenient place to go for large boxes, and to get empties for shipping. One of the employee is the know-it-all and I don't remember her name, but she does everything by the book. I only recently used this location, and she asked me questions, I have never heard before from a post office employee. If you have a question about any service provided by USPS, this is the place to go. It's out of the way and near a huge shopping area, so it is convenient. They always have enough people working, according to the time of the day, and the most I've waited in line was 1 or 2 minutes. It is open all the time I believe and I never had any problems. read more

My daughter is serving in the Air Force and is currently stationed in another country. I was excited to see that USPS offers free shipping items and offers a discount for shipment going to someone in the military. So, I went online and paid for a label and printed it out. I then went home and taped up the box added the label and asked my daughter's boyfriend to head to the post office in Trenton on rte. 130 to ship the box. There should be no additional charges and I already had the tracking number. When he went to ship the box a CSR at the counter would not take the box because she said the shipping label was bent and the label had to be moved. My son in law then proceeded to ask the lady politely, could you please show me what I need to do to get this box shipped. The young lady said take the box back home fix the label and put it in another place. Maybe I might be a little out of line, but I am very surprised the young lady at the post office could not be a little bit more helpful, for a box that was being shipped to someone serving her country. Not sure if she had a bad day, but she needs to take another course in customer service. How about show the gentlemen how to re-tape the label, so my daughter who is in the Air Force could have had her items shipped today. I am very disappointed in this lady's attitude and her apparent "It's not my problem" attitude. Update: On the same day the package was taken to Franklin Park's post office and the package was accepted and shipped with no problem! read more

Workers are horrible. Especially the one chinese lady. Instead of talking to me respectfully she walks away and mumbles. I ask again and she annoyedly answered me screaming. This is ridiculous. read more

My father, who lives in San Francisco, sent me an Express Mail package, at the cost of nearly $20.00USD. Unfortunately, he forgot to list my apartment number. The package was immediately declared undeliverable by the USPS EM driver, despite my name being clearly listed on the charter(for lack of a much more apt word) of my building's vestibule, along with those of the rest of my neighbors. This is not the first time I've had problems with the USPS. I can't describe how many times I've scheduled packages for pick-up, days in advance, only to not have them picked up, or worse, get a pick-up notice in my emails, while holding the package in my lap! read more

I mailed a pkg from Rt. 130 post office on August 16 overnight for $48.80 for a 2lb pkg. and it never arrived. I've called the number on my receipt and given a case # and was told to wait 3 days and if I didn't hear call back which I did and got another confirmation # and was told it was not delivered and could go to any post office and take my receipt with all the numbers and get a refund. I went and stood for over 40 minutes and then the women was rude and said she needed to investigate. I would probably get my money back but not now. Today is August 29. How long do I have to wait to get my money back. Not to mention that the contents of the package will not be refunded. She said she would call me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said there was no one. I called and asked for the Post Master and his voice mail said he will be out of the office until September 4. He left another number and no one answers. Terrible service and this is not the first time they have been rude. They took the money quick enough now please refund me. read more

Red haired clerk was extremely rude to me and threatened not to mail my package because I printed the label yesterday. When I started to answer that yesterday was Sunday and they were closed, she shoved my receipt in my face and screamed "THANK YOU" and ran away. There's always very slow service and the two women employees (dyed red hair and Asian) both stand around and act annoyed you are there. HELLO, you're at work and I'm a customer! I have been here countless times and finally wrote a review today because it was unacceptable. read more
