I often have packages often to pick up and depending on the postal carrier (we get different ones) sometimes they don't pick them up, and I have to then take them to the post office. Recently, I had a package picked up, scanned and delivered to my next-door neighbor. She brought it by the next day; I took it down to the drop-box in the lobby. It still hasn't shipped (was supposed to go to Indiana. Will go to the Post Office today to try and see where it is and why it hasn't shipped. I try to get hold of post office at Walmart for an hour about a package. They say it been delivered but this is the fifth package. You have not been delivered to my resident, but they say it been scanned in front of my house and my brother been out there waiting on the mailman and he said he didn't see no mailmanand I reckon to people don't trust the post office anymore. Only put a one because they require it. I encourage everyone to download the informed mail app and see how much mail it says that is incoming that you never see, missing, never to show up. Had to have several checks reissued because of their incompetence. Important documents, lost. You will get zero help from this office. I encourage everyone who has an issue with this place to contact the Post Master General (not local) for this area and file complaints. They have expedited mine to the Consumer Affairs Division. read more

No one answers the phone and you cannot get a hold of anyone in the office. The phone just rings then eventually hangs up on you. (Despite any time of the day you call). In speaking w/ someone in customer service by calling the main USPS through at the 800#, they mentioned that all local post offices should be answering their phone calls and if there is an issue with phone calls being answered to contact/report to Seattle District Consumer Affairs Office @ 253-214-1800. read more

(Zero stars) While living in this place, carrier refused to deliver mail for a week when we moved our mailbox to the same location everyone else had theirs on our block. Once we moved away, two out of three people in our family received forwarded mail. Attempted dozens of calls and filed multiple reports with USPS. No replies or fixes from this office. Finally got our real estate agent to get someone at this USPS branch to call me back. Was told "what do you expect, it's a ghetto town?" as the reason I hadn't received any forwarded mail in several months. I don't use this language but that tracks with my experiences there. No accountability, no credibility. My new local USPS branch indicated my records were repeatedly "adjusted" (when they shouldn't have been) by Walla Walla USPS employees while I was attempting to get my mail forwarded. Called WA Senators and elevated my concerns about this branch. Subsequently received a few pieces of mail, some damaged and months old--including an election ballot and other time-sensitive things. Disgusting having to deal with this while my husband was dying from cancer. read more

This postal service in Walla Walla is horrible. I have postal notification, so I know what mail is supposed to be delivered everyday. Many times it is not delivered until the next day, or several days later. Last year, I purchased a tag from IFG for turkey season on April 5. The tag was mailed by IFG on April 6. I received the tag on June 5, one week after the turkey season closed. That expenive tag didn't do me a bit of good! Today, I had mail in the box to be picked up, and 3 pieces of mail to be delivered based on my mail notification. The postal driver did not stop at our mail box, drove right on by even though the flag was in the upright position! Our US representatives need to hold the postal service accountable for the horrible service! read more

This post office has a really great structure and is very old fashioned looking but very classic. It actually looks more like a city hall or a European police station and not a post office. They don't have an automated postal center so you can't mail things after hours when they close and also I don't remember seeing a drive through mail box though. So you have to find parking nearby and walk into the post office or just find a blue box elsewhere in the city. Bulk mail is a joke! Unhelpful and sometimes just rude! If you have questions call the post office and ask for the rep in Spokane, he's really nice. If you need "binding" for bulk mail go to Postal Annex! The only reason it's getting two stars is because every other time I mailed something it was fine. However my experience with them the past two days totally changes my mind. read more

So frustrated just trying for days to reach them on the phone. Three days in a row, may different times during the day, I've tried to call. The first and second days, it just rings and rings and no one ever answers, then it finally beeps and hangs up. The third day, it rang and hang up a few times, then finally an answering service answered, I waited for 10 minutes or more, then I could tell the line was active since I heard people talking in the background, but no one ever came to the line, and then they hung up yet again. I don't understand such horrible service. read more

I have lived many places and this is by far the worst post office I have ever experienced. They have lost our vacation hold mail, they don't answer the phone and when you finally get a supervisor, they don't call you back. They returned letters with "no longer at this address" when I have NOT moved! Ten days ago I mailed one child face mask with one stamp and it was returned today for postage. I've reported them on-line, no action. One star is too much! read more

About 2 months ago I made a stop at this post office to mail off a package. It was around 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I was a little shocked to see the huge line of people past the door and clear out into the lobby and only ONE person working behind the counter. I would have turned around and walked right back out but I had to get this package mailed off that day. It took me nearly an hour to get to the front of the line. Meanwhile, someone would occasionally pop up from the back room and carry packages away. Maybe they were short-handed that day, but someone else in line next to me said it's always like this. The next time I have business to do at the post office, I'll go to the one in College Place. read more

Actually a 4.5 review. Robert is quick and professional, and until today I had mixed experiences with other employees. Today was great! I came in to get stamps for my wedding invitations, and Layne and a female employee were a huge help, making sure that the entire collection of envelopes, inserts, etc. with my invitations would be covered by a standard stamp. I was shown every available option with no pressure no make any particular selection. It was so nice to have the help, and not feel rushed to make a decision. I got stamps that perfectly fit the feel of my wedding and am thrilled to begin sending my invitations! read more

Layne is the lome person serving people and talked for 5 minutes about personal things while 3 others were waiting in line. Conversation while you're being helped is appreciated. But when you're literally making others wait while you talk - for that long - it's quite frustrating. Another person came to help. He was quick and professional. read more
