But it seems like no matter how friendly polite and understanding I am when they lose a package of mine, they are so rude!! or God help me if I have a question about anything they speak so loud like they're trying to shame you in front of the entire line of people behind you. And forget about asking to pick up a package (again, I know it can be an inconvenience, but that's why I call and ask ahead of time if and when it's possible) And they're just miserable. They don't act like they're at work. They don't have any self-respect for how they present themselves or treat even each other in front of people at the post office! What a shame! These women have got 20 years on me too, have some dignity and grace with each other and your customers!

The reason Post Office has Homeless People living behind the Post Office and they go inside the lobby after hours, sleep, use the bathroom on floor, the smell is terrible. They also sit up against the brick wall in the middle of the day time on the dirt and charge cell phones from the electric plugs n the wall outside. The outside drop box was broken into this past year also. With them using the inside, it will not be long before they break into the boxes on the wall after hours. They use to have a PIN Lock on the door, only Box Holders had the PIN number, however, when it broke, Postmaster at Cumberland stated the Post Office will not replace, it is against the Privacy Act. This is not true. No camera's inside the lobby and no camera's outside the lobby and Postmaster says, higher ups say it is against the privacy act. Every business has a camera inside and outside, it is not against the privacy act. Just another excuse by the Post Office. So what this Postmaster and higher ups are saying, it is against the law for homeowners to have outside camera's. They mop the floor with strong odor of Clorox and other chemicals every morning. With breathing problems and lung problems I gave up my box December 1, 2023, because this Post Office does not care about the health of others. Note, even though the Postmaster at Cumberland Post Office has breathing problems but she does not care about others. It is a shame like many retired Postal Worker are saying, the clerk at this location has to clean up poop and urine smell. Now that is a waste of government money when she has to clean the Post Office and wait on customers. Why don't they hired a Custodian for cleaning the office and lobby? So I have gone back to a regular mailbox at my home, except I have notified ChampVA, and they are mailing all my medications to my daughters house. They should clean their act up at this Post Office or close it.
