Trusted Moving and Storage sold our moving contract to US Pro Movers who destroyed our precious portraits and our riding lawn mover was in pieces when we finally received our items. I contacted Trusted Moving and Storage and they sent me to file a claim with Moving Claims, another company that wanted to pay us $66 for my destroyed items. I would give zero stars If i could. Absolute scam... They go through multiple "estimates" and pull you in on a contract with a very small amount of money due. By the end, you owe at least 3 times the original estimate. Then, once they break all your stuff (like for me a $1500 TV, ruin couches and tables) they give you under $100. but, you have to go through a very strenuous process to even get that! Danger!!! We were quoted $2,000 and paid the deposit to Progressive Van Lines. Before the move they told us Smart Van Lines would do the move. When they showed up, they moved 1/3rd the stuff then said it would cost more, and needed $1500 for a total of $3700. We paid, then when they showed up to deliver the goods, they demanded another $2000 cash, plus extra $800 to move our stuff up the stairs. If I could give them a 0 stars, I would. After canceling holiday plans, they didn't bother to show up let alone give me notice they weren't coming after having confirmed with me the drop off window less than 12 hours before and me driving several hours to the drop off location, and this was after a couple reschedules. Not only do I have an audio recording of the driver trying to extort me for more money -$800- admitting they would leave my items on the curb, but also his statements about not having any responsibility under the contract (elevator fee was included and so was first $75 feet of carry). They damaged 3 of my items- including a brand new sofa- stole my moving blankets, and extorted an additional $300 on top of the initial additional $300 at pickup. Lack of disassembly can also be seen in the photo, and overall less and smaller items packed on the truck. The driver took off with unsigned paperwork when I would not sign the waiver for damaged goods. I was threaten by the driver and dispatch that they "were done with me" when explaining the contract to them, and the driver also threatened they would take my items several states away again and would not be back for a month unless I paid them additional monies. Additionally, it should be noted that the driver hired help off an phone app (per the two helpers) and sent them home before everything was reassembled, as is included in the contract, and because unload started at a couple hours before midnight and the cops had to be called on the driver/this company, the unload went past midnight. DO NOT TRUST! This "company" stole all of my belongings. I hired US Pro Moving and Logistics for my Denver to New York move and put a $1,200 deposit down. Tom Gale from Smart Van Lines then came to pick up my belongings on May 18 with a delivery date of May 28 stated and requested another $800. Once they had all of my belongings they said it could be 21 days until it was delivered, which was not originally stated. I then called everyday for weeks trying to get an update, sitting on hold for hours only to be told they had no information to give me. After a whole month passed I able to get an answer that my belongings were still in Denver, meanwhile I had already moved crossed country and been living with no furniture and one suitcase of clothes for a month. It has now been over 2 months and we are receiving no answers or updates. The company does not seem to care whatsoever and I have reason to believe my belongings are never coming. read more

They can hire out really crappy carriers with no reliability whatsoever. They contracted AM, which then sub-contracted Smart Van Lines. While my things were in their possession there was a warehouse fire and they never disclosed that to me. I waited 2 weeks before I flew back to Colorado to retrieve my things myself, thinking that my belongings were in the same condition they were picked up in. As with everyone else.....AVOID! They tried to charge my bank account the deposit even after I had cancelled. They do not do credit or debit cards.....they will request your routing and checking number from your bank over the phone for payment #1, payment 2 is cash or check at pick-up, payment 3 is cash or cashiers check only at delivery? WTF....who operates like this?! Unfortunately, I was duped by the nice sales guy (Steve Berch) and I gave them my bank account info (please don't judge me). Immediately after I felt off about the whole thing. Called back to their office and spoke to a wonderfully annoying "retention specialist" who kept trying to sell me after I kept saying CANCEL!!! I then called Steve back and told him to cancel as well. I thought it was settled....until 4 days letter when someone else from the company called me and asked about my check bouncing. This entire program is a scam and they know it. They brokered movers for us that were not only unqualified to move, they were incredibly inefficient, wouldnt reorganize anything (after I pointed out a chair on top of a desk is probably not a great use of that packing space) and tried to charge us double what we paid to fit the rest. I ended up having to call the police to get my items back off their truck. Said they were going to charge me an extra 1500 to take it off, they had loaded a total of 14 pieces and 4 of those were dining chairs....so really 10 pieces. Was a total joke. Those 14 pieces took up "700 cubic feet" accoridng to them. Meanwhile I ended up renting my own truck that was 1,200 cubic ft and fit all 112 pieces plus tons of extra room. They wouldn't let me in the truck to measure the space, wouldn't change how they arranged things. Of course this brokerage didn't care about any of that and after i canceled the movers Pro Moving and Scams said sorry no refund on the deposit even though everything they said was a total lie: no white glove service, no communication, everything needs to go through "upper management" but never clarified who that is, where they are or when they will respond to you. They were a no show. Movers never came, never even contacted me. When I asked for a refund, they claim accountability for nothing, and will not refund my money for services that they never provided. There are ONLY 1-star reviews on here... -- Everything about the process with Moving Pros has felt like a scam and the fact that they will not refund my money after not showing up or communicating anything to me feels like pretty hard evidence of that. I signed up with Moving Pros in a rush after other movers cancelled on me. Moving Pros sales people are great at their jobs. They make you feel like they will take care of you and feel comfortable. Red Flag 1 - They would not let me end the phone call. I had to check with my neighbor to see if they cold help with the move. James from Moving Pros said for us to proceed, they need to be put on hold not a new call. Red Flag 2 - Pressured into the Bank transfer 50% deposit. They only accept bank transfers, not credit card like most reputable businesses. They will cash your virtual check as soon as they can. They do not wait for services to be rendered. This eliminates any opportunity for a bank dispute since they have your signed over cash. Red Flag 3 - I was assured by James from Moving Pros that I would receive a call the day before the truck would arrive to coordinate timing. I never received that call. My scheduled slot with them was a 4 day period, Tues-Fri. I called them Thursday afternoon because I had not received any word. Red Flag 4 - Excuses and false assurances. On that phone call I was told the driver would actually be calling me within the hour and to call back if I don't hear from them. Didn't hear anything so I called back again. This continued over 5 conversations with Moving Pros Customer Support. Each time they gave me an excuse "they are on a delivery and will be calling you after", "the truck is actually in the repair shop". Red Flag 5 - It's very easy for them to claim ignorance. Every bit of communication goes through "Dispatch". They only have the limited information that Dispatch tells them. I asked for the drivers number and they wouldn't provide that to me. Red Flag 6 - Customer Service takes the nights and weekends off so you're completely out of luck if you need something off hours. At no point did I receive any communication from Moving Pros that I didn't initiate. I hounded them for information for 3 days only to be fed BS from their customer service. The drivers never showed and they claim to have reports that their driver tried calling me and texting me. I never got anything and I was watching my phone like a hawk because you know, all my possessions are dependent on this move happening. I sent Moving Pros phone logs as proof. They are apparently trying to verify from their drivers, their phone logs. It's all a ruse. They take your money and since they have it, they make stuff up like that to keep from refunding you. None of their story lines up. At no point over my 5 conversations spanning 3 days with their customer service did they mention the driver having an issue reaching me. Shady company and nonexistent customer service. I fell for their scam. I set up a move on August 24 to move from Denver to St Louis. John the salesman was very personable and slick. I put down $572 was told there would be a pickup on Saturday September 26 or Sunday September 27 and the move would arrive in St. Louis on Friday, October 2. Rebecca then called an verified my move. She said the carrier would contact me on September 23 to verify the move. September 23 came and gone and no one called. I called Rebecca and US Pro Moving and Logistics Customer Service on Friday, September 25 and all weekend. I did not receive a callback. I emailed the sales rep and left a VM on his number. He never returned my calls. I texted and called Rebecca, she never returned any of my messages. I was finally able to get a hold of US Pro Moving and Logistics customer service on Monday, September 28 at 7:30 am Denver time. They said they were trying to contact the mover and gave me the carrier's telephone number. I called the carrier out of Denton, TX, gave them the US Pro Moving and Logistics job number and they said they turned it down because US Pro Moving and Logistics underbid the job. Furthermore, they said they did not pick up on weekends. I called back US Pro Moving and Logistics and they said they were working with the carrier in Denton, TX. When I told US Pro Moving and Logistics that I actually spoke with the carrier, but the customer service rep at US Pro Moving and Logistics said the carrier would call me right back (this was at 8:40 am on Monday, September 28). I was assured that the US Pro Moving and Logistics Dispatch Manager had found a carrier and my move would be picked up on Monday, September 28. I finally got a call from a Denver moving service at 9:10 am, he was apologetic and said he was just contacted by US Pro Moving and Logistics a few minutes prior. He said they would pick up my move but said it probably would be in storage for 21 days before it could be moved to St. Louis because they just found out about it on Monday, September 28. The level of deception and false promises from US Pro Movers and Logistics surprised even me. I called customer service back on Monday, September 28 at 9:43 am and they said the 21 days in storage was acceptable and was within the DOT spread, whatever that means. I was told multiple times by US Pro Moving and Logistics that my move would be picked up by a carrier right up until 9:43 am this morning, then the story abruptly changed. I had to scramble and rent a U-Haul to move myself. That was my only option at this late stage because US Pro Moving and Logistics did not actually take any action until I finally spoke with customer service on Monday, September 28, even though I paid a deposit on August 26 and spoke with Rebecca on August 27. I cannot stress this enough. Do not use US Pro Moving and Logistics. Once they get your deposit, you will never hear from them again. They will underbid your job to carriers so that the carrier will not take the job, or a local mover will put your things in storage for weeks, or you will owe much more than the quote if and when a mover does show up. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! They don't plan to be in contact with you after you pay the deposit, nor do they plan to let you get your deposit back!! This company refused to pick up my calls when I called multiple days in a row to attempt to cancel my moving process. When they finally returned my call at 7 AM in the morning, they informed me it was much too late to actually cancel the move at that point and, due to the contract, I would be required to pay the full $603 from my deposit without a refund. They kept repeating that a contract was signed and that's the most they can do. (To be clear - when I initially was attempting to get ahold of them, it was NOT too late according to their contract to cancel!) I had left multiple voicemails when I had called and they denied having any record of any of them, saying there was no record of either my calls or the voice messages themselves. They charged the full $603 of the deposit through my checking account in the form of a check that is already authorized with no signature needed. They also were attempting when originally signing up for the service to lie about administrative charges; the first employee guided me through the process and said there would be no problem if cancellation needed to happen, and there would be no fee; the second employee let me know that a fee would be charged upon cancellation (10% administrative fee) which they then agreed to waive in my contract. The contract is written to where even if they're late, they're not at fault. I got my items with about 20% of them broken. I was told the process was going to be easy and smooth. It was neither. Here is a copy & paste review that I left for Virgin Moving & Storage that will accurately portray this experience: :I called Moving Pros, spoke with Tom Parker, who quoted me $1922, after inventory was given. My scheduled moving date was 2/14/21. At 7:55pm on the evening of 2/13/21, Brian from VMS called me to ask if they can arrive early in the morning because of his dissatisfaction that he had to work on "Valentine's Day and on [his] birthday." He stated that (tomorrow) was Valentine's Day & his birthday several times, while also expressing that he wanted to be home with his girlfriend and that "no one wanted to work with him because of Valentine's Day." I felt extremely uncomfortable at this point and asked, "Should I hire someone else?" He of course, said, "no." The morning of the move he shows up and continuously said "how much stuff [I] have," while shaking is head. Again, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my clothes on hangers, zip tied, pulled through large garden bags and then taped tightly. There was about 6 of these altogether, plus a few more garden bags full of soft material like bedding. There were unpacked items as well. I made it clear that none of those items were coming with, and I'd be throwing them away. He then took photos of my inventory. Upon finishing, he began writing down numbers and told me outloud that $600 was being added for packaging material for the items in bags. I said, "Excuse me? $600 for some boxes and some tape?" He replied, "And for labor." Wow! Unbelievable, right? He then said that [Moving Pros] quoted me at mid 300 cubic feet and that I had 900 on something. Flash forward to the next day: we ended up loading up a Uhaul and I assure you, that I did not have over 900 cubic feet of inventory. He finished his new quote and told me it would be $5162.50! It went from $1922 to $5162.50. I would like to point out that my furniture was very standard for a small apartment: queen bed, headboard, small vanity, 2 nightstands, a bookshelf approx. 4' tall, a 3' flat-screen tv, a basic window side table for plants, a cat tree, standard coffee table, NO dining table and chairs as I was giving that away, 3 backless bar stools, and heavy duty shelving that was all broken down for them, but 2. That's it! The rest was boxes that I had numbered and the garden bags that I mentioned earlier. He was aggressive with me & as a single female, I was feeling very unsafe. I told him how ridiculous his new quote was and how wrong it was to try & charge me over 250% more than the original quote. The feeling of being unsafe plus the outrageous quote, prompted me to ask them to leave my home. He continued to push for my cooperation. I continued to ask him to leave. He then sat in his truck for sometime afterwards while I received 3 calls from 2 different people, trying to persuade me to use their services and brought their quote down to $3100. I was so unsafe and uncomfortable feeling though, so I asked yet again, for them to leave. I will be fighting to get my $687 deposit back from Moving Pros." Not only was my experience incredibly stressful, but it was also very intimidating and unsafe feeling. I will also add that I called Pro Moving, but couldn't reach anyone due to the day being Sunday. I texted Tom Parker and to this day have not gotten a response. I needed a new moving company. I called Tuesday while driving my Uhaul to Oregon to request my deposit back and was given this email to do so. I am not someone who typically reads many reviews, nor do I ever write them, but this situation warranted a review. PLEASE learn from me and do NOT trust this company. First of all, they are not a moving company, they are a broker company and mislead me from the start. My first conversation was with "senior moving coordinator" Thomas Detoro. I explicitly told him the price he first quoted me for moving my studio apartment from Georgia to Colorado was too expensive for me to afford, and he was able tp approve a "discount" that I could afford. That was my first mistake. I fell for his sales pitch, and he used the line "If I can get this quote down can we have your business?" That was how they hooked me in. Next, a man name Ben from peak van lines came to pick up my things 1 day later than I was told due to his "truck breaking down." Before he even saw my storage unit, he was already telling me through text message that I'd owe him $1000 than I had singed in the contract with us pro movers and logistics. I never got a phone call 1-2 days before my pick up date to confirm details, as us pro movers told me I would. Ben from Peak Van lines said I had 200 more cubic square feet than I was quoted for and he charged me $700 more than I was quoted and more than I had singed to pay. He did not have a measuring tape or markers on his truck to show how much stuff I had; it was all subjective. When I reached out with a complaint to peak van lines, they told me to come get my things from Atlanta. This was not possible for me as I was already in Colorado. Ben never reached out to me letting me know my household goods were heading towards Denver. I got a call from a man named Jason who said he was an "independent" mover who had picked up the job from Ben. Jason told me he would be there in 12 hours at 4 am. This was a terribly inconvenient time as I had to go to work at 7 am. Jason said he was unable to wait until the evening and he attempted to charge me $400 MORE than I was quoted on top of the $700 extra that Ben had already charged me. I contacted us pro movers and logistics and they contacted Jason and let him know their policy was $75 for each flight of stairs with the first flight being free. Jason did not let me know he was running late, so I was awake at 3:30 am waiting to hear from them. They arrived at 530 am. I paid them my remaining balance plus $125 extra for my flight of stairs. I only owed them $75 per my contract, so I gave them $50 extra trying to help them out a bit. Jason and his partner Cameron unloaded all of my things onto the curb outside of my apartment, refusing to take my things upstairs into my apartment, EVEN though I had paid them not only correctly, but a bit extra. They said, "we don't work for free" and then left with all my things on the curb. I had to leave for work and was unable to take my dresser, several boxes, a table, patio chairs, etc. up to my apartment. To the degree that I understand, Ben from peak van lines scammed them, (the remaining balance I paid them went to Ben, not to Jason and Cameron) so they didn't honor their commitment and contract to take my things up to my apartment. Jason and Cameron were contracted by Ben, and Ben was contracted by us pro movers. To summarize: -To NOT give your money to this business and do not trust them -I have spent 4 plus hours on the phone with customer service reps from us pro moving and nothing has been done to make this right. Despite requesting multiple times to speak with a manger, they say they aren't avaliable and that they don't have phone numbers only email. I have emailed the management email, support@movingpros.org twice over the last week with no response -They are unreliable and do not take responsibility for their mistake in giving my contract to a disreputable moving company (look up reviews for peak van lines for yourself) -They have not made it right, despite me asking.. Both carriers took their money and ran. Ignore whatever they say to dispute this review. They are scamming for your money, dishonest and irresponsible with lack a of integrity and no care for their customers. read more

THIS IS NOT A Trustworthy COMPANY! THEY HAVE A D- RATING ON THE BBB!!! Read the reviews!!! This company needs to be shut down!! I have never experienced such unbelievable treatment from a moving company. I have done 8 military moves in the last 23 years. This company claims to go above & beyond but here's the catch!! Once they have your confirmation/deposit, you'll never speak to or hear from them again! The movers showed up 3 hours early when we specified they cannot arrive earlier than the agreed upon time! They CONFIRMED our delivery date; both John Williams, the Senior Coordinator and Andrew, the QA guy! My daughter arrived at her new apartment early on the day the Truck was to arrive. 4 hours later she calls to get no answer, leaves several messages and no response. Sends emails with no response still 5 days later! She finally gets through to customer service and she's told; "oh your actual date for delivery can be 5-7 days AFTER your CONFIRMED date!! WHAT?!? Still no response from John or Andrew! She then calls customer service again and she's #18 in line, on hold. She finally gets through an hour later to find out they have no idea where her truck is.!?!? Absolutely no sense of urgency or care in the world to help her locate her goods. The movers that arrived to pick up the goods were absolutely rude and snide to my daughter & I. Very unprofessional!! We were told NOT to pack or wrap the large mirror & picture that was going, as it's included, as part of the service with no additional cost! That's a complete lie!! As we stood there watching a guy wrap the picture in several pieces of cardboard, the head guy told my daughter she owed them an extra $59 for the cardboard to wrap the mirror and picture!!! We said no way, that's not what John explained to us! The guy became combative and snarky demanding we pay the additional fee that day. My daughter tried calling John with no success then told the movers that IF John insists on the fee she will pay at delivery, after she speaks to John. The guy was extremely rude and disrespectful to my daughter, laughing at her as if she's ignorant while he carried on a conversation in Spanish to the other guys. Today is day 6 PAST the CONFIRMED date of delivery. I was able to get John on the phone, only after leaving the message that I'm interested in a quote. I told him my daughter had left messages and sent emails unable to reach him, he lies to me saying "oh I didn't get anything from her, ok I'll call her now." I asked, don't you want her name & number? Knowing he wasn't going to call I immediately sent a letter to the corporate office & reported them to the BBB. He never called as I figured but today a woman Louise from the company called to give my daughter her advice about moving, explaining how stressful it can be. This must be a tactic to calm customers who have been lied to by the company. This entire process has been the most stressful experience we've ever encountered on a move!! Movers are supposed to put the customer at ease, reassuring them that their household goods are in good hands, not stress them out & leave them hanging with no response to emails & phone calls!! ALL OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE from relatives of employees! You can tell by the grammar & short sentences. This company is extremely crooked! PLEASE REPORT THEM TO THE BBB! If you have recently purchased and made a down payment it's not too late. 90 days to dispute a remote check, 60 days to dispute Visa. I got out just in time. They are contracting crooks who hire moving companies that are crooks as well. BEWARE!!! They get you contracted before you even have time for review reading. You are not contracted for the first 72 hours. Then they try and steal your deposit even though your within the 72 hour limit. Don't expect them to give your money back. Then the moving truck guy added up the extra cost which came to 1200$ more than the original price of the move, the after telling me my 17 ft.³ refrigerator would take up 80 ft.³ in the truck and also my washer and dryer would take up 80 ft.³ in the truck that's when I knew they were trying to rip me off and this whole thing was based on lies. I had tried to call your company on Saturday didn't realize you guys were closed, so I called the other number and left a message and Josh had called me back and while I was talking to him he told me that maybe I just didn't notice what was missing from the list and started getting defensive, Then he started telling me maybe I told another moving company about the couch and the items that were not included and asked me how many quotes did I call for that day that we talked, trying to dig himself out of the hole he already dug. And trying to make me sound like I'm crazy . So I had thought about it and realized that I had made this phone call from my girlfriends house which she has video cameras in her kitchen and when I talk to Josh Wilson this whole call was recorded because he was on speakerphone and we went back in her videos and found it, and he repeated everything that I told him was on the list and I was correct. what he told me earlier on the phone was all lies. My whole day was ruined on Saturday when this moving company came to my home so I am requesting a full refund and I hope I get my money back in a timely fashion, because when I paid US pro movers the money was taken out of my account within seconds so again I hope a refund is as timely as possible and one more thing Josh wilson I would not have working for my company he is a deceptive liar. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to lose $748 because an awful person like josh Wilson who can sit at the other end of a phone and deceive people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They scheduled a pick up between May 29 to May 31 2021. They said someone would call 24-48 hours before pick up to confirm. No one ever called. We called them dozens of times and they never answered the phone. A recording says "you are number 28 in line to have your call answered". Waited hours on the phone several different times and by the time the recording says you are next in line, the call disconnects, They have an emergency after hours number to text, which we did numerous times and the person answering those texts just keeps saying someone will call you to confirm pick up. I went to their website and clicked on the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter links to try and reach them, but there are no accounts for this company. It just takes to to the Six website to create an account. This company is no reputable. We will be filing a BBB claim, and contacting an attorney. Agree with so many others. I'd be ok with subcontracting out the work. I'd be ok with things taking a bit longer than expected (maybe 3 or 4 weeks when told usually one or two). I am not ok with being told usually 7 - 14 days but then in the fine print it is up to 30 business days (not calendar days) from your first date of 'ok to deliver'. So, if you tell them you are ok to deliver on the 1st be prepared to wait up until the 15th of the following month. What I am absolutely not ok with is the lies. When I decided to call US Pro (and that is who I contracted with) instead of continuing to call the subcontractor, I was told things were FINALLY being loaded onto a truck. A few days later I call the subcontractor for a delivery date and...nope, still not loaded and still waiting for a truck. Don't do it. The price savings isn't worth the hassle unless you can live without your things for a very long time. read more

Horrible Horrible Experience. They begin by misleading people (they are brokers not movers), then they try to double the price you were quoted two days before the move. They sell your move to the cheapest movers they can (so they can get the most money). They refuse to let you talk to a supervisor and refuse to respond to letters from lawyers. After you begin the small claim paperwork (costing you hundreds of dollars and tons of time), they will use their shady lawyer to return your minimum deposit two days before hearing. I've never met such an unethical agency. Also, they buy good reviews so a lot of sites don't show their horribleness accurately! read more

Stay away! This company will tell you what you want to hear and what you get will be nothing but headaches. They sell your move to cheap moving companies like Oasis Movers out of Las Vegas, NV. The load that was sold to them won't fit on the truck and then they will break a bunch of stuff before they finally deliver. Stay away. read more
