Renee is so knowledgeable, hilarious, and dedicated to teaching others to succeed as well as very candid about sharing her wisdom. I truly enjoyed learning with Renee and I can't wait to obtain my RE license so I can have a one-on-one training session with "The Great Renee"! I recently had the pleasure of completing the CA Realty Training course with Veronica Jones, and boy, what a wonderful experience! The class was held at the Keller Williams Beverly Hills location on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 pm. I enjoyed learning from Veronica, she really knows her stuff! The class follows a schedule to complete about 5 chapters a week, over the span of 3 months, which let's face it, could potentially be a chore to get through at the end of your day, (especially if you work during the day) but Veronica seems to morph the lessons into more of a "conversation" about Real Estate. She also is sure to emphasize material that is likely to be on the State exam, and makes herself available for questions via phone and email. The team at Ca Realty Training is amazing, any issues or concerns I may have they address them immediatly. Their instructors are very knowledgeable and their Administration team Raquel and Chase are awesome. I had been taking Kelly's class who by the way is awesome and pasionate about what she is teaching but unfortunitly I had a schedule conflict, I called Raquel and she was so helpful in helping me figure out a plan of action to keep me in class but to also work with my schedule. So, now I'm in Kathryn Shafer's class. Kathryn is amazing, she is on point with what she is teaching and is also very passionate, I love how she has structured her class and brings in guest speakers, she covers all aspects of the business like a pro. I find it a little challenging to write this review about CA Realty Training and my trainer Renee Despins without it sounding as though "It's too good to be true." However, I can assure you it is 100 percent true! If any of you out there are trying to decide which real estate school to attend, trust me that your search is now over! My experience at CA Realty Training was fantastic. From the moment I signed up to the moment I completed the three required real estate courses and also with kind assistance from the administration team Chase, Kian, and Carolee whenever I had questions, I am forever thankful my search led me to this school and specifically to the Saturday in-class sessions at the KW Beverly Hills location with Renee Despins as our trainer. Renee made me feel welcomed the moment I entered her class for the very first time. I was a little nervous going back to school at my age. However, Renee put me at ease immediately. At that time I was working a very demanding full-time job as a court reporting online teacher. So at first it did not seem fun knowing I would have to give up a portion of my weekend time to sit in a classroom on Saturdays. Well, it turned out the time I spent in this class was so enjoyable I found myself looking forward throughout the work week to the Saturday sessions solely because of Renee and her teaching style. She truly made our class environment feel much more like a family. What impressed me right off the bat with Renee is how she was able to address each of us by name from our very first class. As we would walk in, she would be right there with a huge smile saying "Good morning, Barbara," "Good morning, Linda, "Good morning, Phillip," etc. She got everyone's name down right from the start! Renee really took the time out to get to know us as individuals. She has a wealth of real estate experience and generously shared her expertise with all of us. She made learning fun as she has a very quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. She made me want to come to class each Saturday and encouraged me to learn so that I could one day make my dream of entering the real estate profession a reality. Since I finished my three RE courses at CA Realty Training, Renee has remained a wonderful support to me. She always stayed in touch and followed up on my progress. I signed up to take the Saturday classes in Beverly Hills blindly. I didn't know much about the course or the instructor. Luckily, everything turned out for the best and I can't tell you how fortunate I am to have been placed in Renee Despins class. Renee has the knowledge, humor, stories, charisma and experience that was needed to keep me interested for 4 hours every Saturday. There was never a Saturday where I dreaded attending her class because she had a way of turning the countless amount of facts that you must learn into interesting, fun, absorbable and meaningful information. Many friends and colleagues asked why I attended the classes and not just read and took the quizzes at home. It's a fair question, but to succeed on the state exam it's not enough to just read the required material, you must grasp and understand the concepts. That where Renee comes in. Renee's classes provided a forum that helped me to conceptualize the readings completed at home. I was able to ask questions, bounce ideas and even learn from my fellow students. She made the puzzle pieces of information fit together. Most of all, she motivated me to stay on task and finish the required readings on time. When all three courses wrapped, I had my certificates and was ready to apply for the state exam. I really like this course. I have tried taking a course online but I feel being in a classroom and being able to ask questions and talk to others on my same path is much better! I would like to give a shout out to Veronica. I'm only 1 month in so far, however, Veronica has made it much easier for me to understand. I love how she explains the content in an easy and understandable manner and is always open to every question. I also love how she shares her secrets!! She informs you of real life situations and gives you tips that you would not learn in the book. I personally am fond of Keller Williams and really like that this course is actually offered in the KW building (as well as other locations). I recommend this course to anyone who is struggling to find the best way to learn all this information! Just because you are in a classroom doesn't mean you don't have to read the book though!! I had the great pleasure of having Kathryn Shafer as my teacher for the live class portion of my CA Realty Training package. Kathryn brings an unbeatable combination: a seasoned real estate agent/agency owner, plus incredible passion for her subject and students. Kathryn's class is all about the practical aspects; how agents spend days, how it all works and what they need to know to excel at their job. She peppers her own spirited lectures with guest speakers like mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers, escrow officers, title insurance people, former students now agents, etc. This is most helpful, as they really illuminate the process from prospecting and how to work with buyers and sellers, making offers and accepted offers through close of escrow. Finally Kathryn clearly cares a lot about her students and their future, stressing how to deal with critical aspects of the process that can make or break an agent, at the beginning and end of every class. scott butler was my teacher, i never enjoyed a class like i enjoyed this realestate class. scott made each and every class amazing explaining day to day life of an agent, he answered all my queshtions and everyone elses. h e stayed extra time after class to answer more queshtions. not only did he go over the days lecture with us. he brought escrow agents and new realestate agents to share with us info on how each area works in realestate and what to know about going to take the state exam.. scott is the best broker!!! he cares he is energetic and makes us all get into it by sharing his knowledge and realestate experiences with us!!!! if any of you are interested to learn the ropes of realestate and become an agent sign up for classes and ask to be assigned to scott butler's class.... thank you scott for bieng the best and making me feel welcomed every ssingle class, and great sense of humor:) read more
