They then proceeded to drive well below the speed limit to a point where they were basically loitering in the middle of the road. Put it this way, they were so slow that I could easily get a picture of the phone number on the car so I could finally put in a complaint because this is not the first time I have seen issues with the drivers/cars from this school. I have previously seen cars from this driving school driving erratically but haven't been able to catch the phone number until now. I have also caught the cars from this driving school stopping at a red and just sitting there despite the fact that there is absolutely zero oncoming traffic. Other drivers get frustrated by this and then take extreme action to get around the driving school car because it appears the driver is just not paying attention to the road because they are not following normal traffic laws/rules. This is LA, you need to do better when it comes to how you teach people to drive. Your customers are entrusting you to show them how to drive safely and telling your students to make a turn when there's a quickly approaching vehicle, is just not safe. Not driving with the flow of traffic is also unsafe. If you are a new driver looking for a good driving school, go anywhere else but here. I would highly recommend AAA or some other more professional organization because this company just does not teach you how to drive properly in the city of Los Angeles. If you attended this school, you should be highly concerned.

I got my license at 25, and honestly, I sometimes feel like I'm behind compared to others who got theirs much earlier. Now, I'm in the process of purchasing my own vehicle, which I know will be a big step for me. Having a car is important, especially for emergencies and having the freedom to get where I need to go. Without this driving school and the support of its instructors, I don't think I would have been able to do it. If you're out there feeling afraid, behind, or like it's too late, don't give up. It doesn't hurt to try. I was scared too, and I still made it happen. It's possible.

I called this driving school on Monday to schedule a class for 2 hours behind the wheel. I have…read moretaken 6 hrs of classes in a rural area, but never driven in LA before, so I wanted to book a class here. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and helped me with finding a class the same week. On the day of the scheduled class, Luis was prompt and courteous. He arrived on time, and after showing him my permit and ID, we went over some basics such as lane change, checking blind spots, and how to turn the steering wheel. He personally got out of the vehicle to show me exactly where I needed to check, and had me practice a couple times. After that we were on the road. I felt like I got so much of out this class!! It's amazing what we did in the span of two hours. We practiced lane change, backing up, stop signs, and making left/right turns. We then went inside of Santa Monica DMV to practice making left/right turns and also parking in a diagonal space. After, we spent a good chunk of time driving around the DMV to familiarize myself with the area and to get more practice. We ended the class driving back to my apartment, and went over a quick summary of the class. Luis is such a pleasant & sweet instructor and I can tell he genuinely loves teaching. I had such an amazing time getting a single lesson from Luis.

Because It would be my third time after having bad experiences from previous exam preparations with another driving school that lots of people suggested the school to me. I don't have a car, and friends who have a car that I can practice with. I also had exam anxiety, because I failed twice before I met Westwood Driving School. Since from the beginning, everyone who works for Westwood Driving School is a friendly and professional attitude. When I explained my bad experiences about another driving school and with my friends' car, I talked to Laura on the phone, and she listened to me with patience and helped me to book for a lesson with Eduardo. After the lesson, Eduardo explained my mistakes on the paper, also on the road. He was calm and explained every detail for safe driving with great tips very well. I'll always remember those tips while I drive. I also had a lesson from Manny. He was also professional, calm and funny. Thank you to all at Westwood Driving School; you are all my angels and stars. Anyway, Romeo was the instructor all three times. First day, he told her to drive. She was surprised and said that she did better than she thought. They took breaks at the office and was taught rules of the road. The second day was pretty much the same. The last day was spent on the streets and freeway. My daughter said that he was nice, positive, instructional and motivational. That's all a mom needs to hear! He told her what she needed to work on and to come back one more time more she takes the driving test. She is happy and confident after this experience. I'm happy that I made a good choice on this place.

Well after attending Hye Traffic School, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised with this school as I was expecting a long and boring process, for which it was anything but. The staff genuinely care about the students, the fee is reasonable and they run a quality program. During my class, the owner called the instructor and informed him that there was a woman coming in late because apparently her class from another company was canceled and she was going to admit her late and work with her after class to ensure that she was able to get credit for going. It tells you a lot about a company when they take responsibility not just only for their business but also for the mishaps of competitors, all for the benefit of the customer. All in all, I had an amazing experience, I hope that I don't ever have to repeat it, however I'm glad there's a company that puts it's students first and is willing to help people when they need it.
