My rearing was focused around military life. Many generations have proudly served this nation. When one falls down, we pick them up. If they are injured, dead, no one gets left behind. Story after story and of real life accounts of wounded men that would of died. These men that fell were carried on the backs of their brothers to safety. How is it so many values can be instilled in so many brave men and women whom defend our nation, but are forgotten when they come home? Organizations such as this exist to help out those that have fallen. We all need a helping hand once in a while. Many are too proud to ever ask. How do we change the current situation? It seems more and more of our service men and woman come back from over seas unable to cope with what they have seen. When was the last time you say a dead body? How about a suicidal bomb go off while your eating? In some places out side of our world this is a fact of life. Bodies lay dead in the streets. In our great nation their are some cities that don't even allow the dead to be buried in city limits. Many Americans live to old old age, we do not witness death like other places in the world. Now think about what these people see. How would your mental state be when you got home? Your suppose to go out and get a regular job, connect with people on a normal level. Sometimes it's not that easy. Many of our armed forces peoples keep this bottled up. They let these images they have seen haunt them. This is where we can help. Washington can only do so much. Freedom is not free. It's a fight that we battle every day. Someone right now is fighting to protect my and your way of life at their own expense. Be the change in the world. When I lost my husband three years ago today, this was the organization that I reached for. My husband spent eight years serving this nation. He was duty and honor all the way. Many of his things that he cherished I donated here. The donation center is easy to get too and can be done anonymously. We wanted to reach even more. From time to time when they needed extra help for events we were there serving food to those that seemed broken. These individuals are not broken, they need change. They need people to care. They need people to know that their sacrifices were not in vein. The Covid virus has not been kind to organizations that are trying to help others. Most of these places closed up for six months or longer. Some have run out of funds. Sure money helps everything. Or does it? We need new individuals to step up and take charge. Let's show our veterans that they have not been forgotten. It is the duty of all the citizens to make an impact. Many may not know that a lot of veterans that come back from these ever lasting wars end up homeless. These are things that need to change. As a collective let's try to make 2021 the year that mattered. Be the voice for those that have none. We can do it. Look how far we have come. It all starts with every one having a voice. You matter! And so does that individual over there that you may not understand. Join me we're gonna make a difference this year.

The food bank is on property and its nice to be able to stock up on food with the public that comes…read moreout to the food bank as well. But if you live on the property, there are a lot of bugs infested in the apartment. Its furnished and all but, I had to bomb the house every 2 weeks to keep rid of them. Too many roaches infested on the premises. They will crawl on everything, your bed, your dressers, your couch, and cabinets. Take care of the bugs yourself. The property wont spray the apartment enough. And never leave food out or opened!!

My employer regularly schedules opportunities for a group of employees to volunteer for the Evening Community Meal at Las Vegas Rescue Mission, founded in 1970. It is a smooth-running operation. For two hours, we get to assist with food service for around 500 to 700 homeless or hungry folks from the local community. The demographic is diverse across age and ethnicity, and includes some families and people with disabilities. They are peaceful and polite throughout the occasion. Some greet you personally to express their gratitude. I enjoy participating in this volunteer event, as a way to give back to the local community most in need. It also serves as a reminder to not take my own meals for granted, as someone fortunate to be in the segment of society that never goes hungry. For folks interested in volunteering, I would recommend Las Vegas Rescue Mission to anyone.

Our Mother is being starved to death because Paulette Clay continues to bump her from getting food…read morewhich is elder abuse. Liza Avila has been sent at least two emails telling her to reinstate our mother's Walmart ride the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. Liza lied to Marina and told her that our mother had canceled her Walmart rides which was untrue. Marina had sent her an email telling her to reinstate that but Liza just ignored it so that email is proof. Then CC emailed Liza to reinstate our mother's Walmart ride and Liza ignored the second request. It is very obvious that Liza has done this out of retaliation of our mother. Mitch one of the drivers had fallen to sleep behind my mother's dumpsters in the bus he was picking her up in. Our mother struggled to go to the office to see if he was up front and she called Paulette and Paulette started screaming at her over our mother's apartment phone which was witnessed. Then when our mother called Liza to tell her what had happened Liza rudely interrupted our mother screaming there is no story... I have already heard. That's the stupidest lie I've ever heard. What did she mean there is no story but she's heard it that's a stupid woman and she needs to be fired because she is the one that has caused all of this to happen because of her refusal to follow orders from two emails and retaliating against our mother and keeping her from food which she has been starving to death. This is all documented and witnessed by many people including documented by Helping Hands emails. Our mother just called us in heart distressed with high blood pressure telling us that Joe Rono, Helping Hands new scheduler bullied her on the phone and then Paulette Clay lied about our mother calling her and telling her that she had been injured on their large bus due to Janine's their driver neglect. Paulette asked our mother if she wanted to fill out an accident report. Why would Paulette ask our mother if she wanted to fill out an accident report if our mother wasn't injured. This Paulette can't even lie good. This Joe lied said that they have things documented. He doesn't even know what he's talking about he's lying also. I did a volunteer shift last week, helping to distribute food to recipients who drove up. There was already a line of cars that snaked outside of the parking lot and down Decatur. The folks working here have a great system going, with check-in for volunteers, name tags, and then assignments handed out. There were tents set up in the parking lot already with the products to be disbursed at stations. Volunteers were assigned to a station and put the food in the cars as they stopped at each station. There were two lines of cars, one on each side of the tents, with volunteers to hand out food on each side. I worked alongside some great people and look forward to helping out again. Zero stars. This place is horrible!…read more My son was pushed into the street by another child (Maurice) on their way to school; his face has road rash and scratches all over it. No incident report and no phone call - instead they sent him to school with fresh wounds all over his face. Yesterday, still no incident report or call from the director Ms. T, but we did get a suspension notice but no suspension for Maurice. Your child is not safe here and counselors Dani and AC are liars! You all witnessed what happened to my son and still sent him to school like nothing had happened. This is the opposite of child care it's extreme neglect.
