USA Mortgage, unlike any other place I've tried to get a loan through, will allow you to write a letter of explanation about the derogatory items on your credit report, then they help you come up with a plan on how to clean your credit up, which helps you in the long run for future major purchases that were difficult in the past. On top of that, they were able to give me a good rate and they work together with every party involved to make sure YOU get the best deal you deserve, but you have to put in the work as well. The USA Mortgage branch based in Columbia, MO is a very straight forward and professional company. Working with them has been easy and pleasant. Their rates are very competitive, and they have been very willing to share and discuss all the aspects of the mortgage experience. On our new house we have to have mortgage insurance. Other companies never mentioned to me that you can "buy out" of that fee for much less money than paying monthly payments on it. This was brought to my attention by USA Mortgage and will save us thousands of dollars. This is just one specific example of how USA Mortgage is an excellent company.
