I have always love credit unions because the members actually get a say, speaking of the annual meeting is coming up in March. When I opened this account I just want to say I had zero credit and was horrible at managing my finances, with the help of the tellers I was referred to several wonderful officers who helped me get started on this journey. Now they will tell you they are not a first time lending institution but I quickly understood why. Their rates are amazing. My partner consigned on my first loan with me and through useful tools they taught me how to use them properly. Dollar dashboard helped me know where my paycheck was going so I could cut back on certain areas, you can set up goals and budgets. Remote deposit comes in handy for when I get a small check and didn't want to run by. Ealerts also helped me manage by letting me know when my balance was low, informing me not to overdraw my account. There are several account levels to choose from and yes some have fees associated with certain features or balances but I asked for copies of each got their advice on the best account type for me and set up and e-connect level. So in summary, anywhere you've worked or visited people have bad days and aren't always the friendliest. That doesn't hold true to this establishment because the officers and tellers are always informative, nice, and even know me by name. I will continue banking here and would recommend this CU to anyone who loves good rates and a good atmosphere.
