So I walked out yesterday morning and noticed a puddle of coolant coming from my car. So I first called the chevy dealership and they basically was no help. I went to pepboys to get assistance. After seeing what they were quoting me, I advised pepboys that is just me buying a new car and they were telling me I needed things when I didn't due to me having already had those items done literally 10 days ago. So I called my mom and she referred me to Essa. He has been soley working on my moms cars since 2005/2006. So I finally was able to get my car towed to him. And showed him the three documents I recieved from Pepboys ( two had a qoute one didn't. They qouted me ($4,300 and $7,800). Essa had my car looked at and said he would have it done by Tuesday maybe Wednesday. So this morning around 10:45. I got the call from Essa saying my car was ready and the price was AMAZING! During the past few days I was also doing my research and the price he gave me matched what I was finding during my Research. I highly recommend taking all your car needs to Essa. I am Not sure if I'll need a smog check this yr but if I do I will make the drive to Hemet and see him He also takes Apple pay :) read more

My favorite automotive repair shop is closing. I have to say Essa is the most honest man (mechanic) you will ever meet! His is a true hero pf our community. The value of his, the empathic way he helps those in need especially women, the elderly, and those who are down on their luck. I am heartbroken to know next Friday he will be closing. Spreading the good news! I found USA Smog by referral and I guess it takes a lifetime to find an honest auto shop and owner? Essa and his crew are amazing and so honest. My seatbelt sensor came on, and the owner suggested I verify with the dealership first, incase there was a "Recall, which is appreciated. Next, my passenger electric window stopped working a couple of years ago, which the owner learned the wiring was backwards and correct this, and now enjoying the power window again! I spoke to David and another gentleman who I unfortunately didn't get his name. Both were great and gave excellent service, were very honest and offered fair prices. Took care of the oil leak on our our beloved 2003 Ford Escape along with a transmission flush, and did a tune up. We have been putting it off for years because the dealer ship quoted us triple that for just the oil leak. After that we took our 2014 Chrysler Town & Country for service (valvoline said it needed a transmission flush and power steering service) and David from USA Smog actually looked up the service manual and told me I didn't need it! My mom also told me she been there and she was very happy that they took care of her car's problem without trying to up-sell her. Yelp still needs a zero star bar. Because that's what this company needs. We bought a car from them for my son. Well this car was MacGyverized. They had wire leads just crimped into the battery terminals. The power steering pump, fuel pump, alternator, battery. All went out with in a year. The odometer says 80,000. But DUMB records sat ,189,000. So the odometer was messed with. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKED. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. read more

Owner claimed something was wrong with truck and nothing was wrong took it to another shop to get smog test and it passed, wanted to make us buy parts and he was going to fix and then charge us again to re smog dont go here unless u have the funds and time to spend here.
