So today was very interesting. I came to stop by and pick up a cbd vape. I enter the store and a staff member asked me.. what can they help me with? I said I'm looking to buy a cbd vape and asked for my ID. Fyi I am of age to buy cigarettes, vapes, alcohol etc and it's a real ID. When I hand my ID to him. He takes a look at it and glances at me and denied me by saying that my ID doesn't look me?! At first I thought he was being sarcastic. The whole time he was serious. And walked me to the door. I was quite upset how he denied me. I said to him... you didn't even scan my card to see proof? He ignored what I said and ramble on saying that he had people scam him. If I could give them a zero I would. Went in today to buy cigarettes and screens and when I handed my out-of-state drivers license license to the clerk, he told me it wasn't right. I asked him what wasn't right about it and he says he needs a California drivers license. I asked, why does it matter? He says "because were in the state of California." Luckily I had my sister with a California ID otherwise I would not have been able to get what I needed. But let me get this straight, if I'm visiting from Arizona, I have to then move to California, establish residency, then go to the DMV, pay about $30 for a license just so I can buy a $5 pack of cigarettes? That makes complete sense. God forbid you're coming from out of the country. The clerk says he's just doing what he's told but I call bullshit. He probably didn't recognize the license because the colors were different and made up some bullshit about why he couldn't take it and when I argued, he didn't want to look stupid, became committed to his story. This was a real good experience! I have anxiety and vaping really helps me and the people here are so nice. Best prices around and best selection of juice and everything else. I actually went into this location by a mistake as I was looking for a vape store in the same complex.
