I would have more pics but there was a sign saying no phones/photos so out of respect for the shop keep I sadly kept the shutter still. An eclectic mix of old and new, some of the stuff is modern made not vintage, but fear not there is plenty of antiques to be had. One could spend the day just exploring the place that smelled heavenly with various candles scattered about the place. These same sweet smelling treasures are sold in the front room. We didn't find a treasure to bring home but the experience was just what our fall day trip up the mountains was all about.

As with any antique mall there are vendor booths that are well priced and then insanely expensive. There is a lot to see for sure. One main drawback is this is a "CASH ONLY" business. If you read my reviews you know I hate cash only businesses. Luckily I had plenty of cash- as it turns out I ended up not purchasing anything. I was tempted to purchase a few items but did not. I highly recommend visiting- I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area. They have a little snack stand and a nice. Lean restroom to make your shopping spree comfortable. I did not eat here but I thought that was great! I was tempted by the enormous Valentines cards for 1$- but there were no envelopes. There was a cute seasonal booth where everything was a dollar and some booths had decent sales.

This place is HUGE, and filled with so many different types of treasures,clothes,antiques, and everything in between! We had to cut our trip thru the store short due to my low blood sugar and desperate need of food, or we would surely would have went thru the whole place. 6 floors! 40 venders. But even though we didnt get to all rooms, we both found some great items. The clothes I found were very nice, clean,brand name and they look so good! Love every item we got, and can't wait to get back and start from the beginning and see what is new and see if we missed anything (bc there is a lot, so you can!) and then that time,go thru every room. I love that you have to pay for it all at the end, especially with different venders. That can be a pain. But just take your basket (which I love that they have to shop with) and head back to the main floor and where you came in and pay there before you leave. I loved the steel lights they were so beautiful. The jewelry was amazing. Most of the things in this shop are one of a kind and are made with the steel made in this town. Very steam punkish but they do have alot of refined pieces you know you can't live without. They also have a web site if you can't get there. I will definitely check that out. Elena was awesome, and I had such a great time chatting with her- thanks to her, I enjoyed the Brussels Sprout appetizer at the Salt House restaurant. Just a few minor things. I personally did not feel like the cashier in the front of store was welcoming. Sure they helped someone who asked about their restroom, but I don't know that they ever greeted anyone who came in. I'm very sensitive to this when I'm shopping, because a warm greeting can mean a lot to unfamiliar tourists. I also felt like the clothes, to me, were on the expensive side. The price of $25 felt right for some shirts/blouses, but not for others, but it was a default price nonetheless. Replica band/concert tees were priced equally high, and some of them were beat up while not being vintage. Other items, I just felt like I could find at the thrift and get a better deal. I thrift a lot from many, many different venues, so I know this for sure. While I understand the beauty of a vintage store is that someone else did the shopping for you, the markup felt like a lot at times. Most of the stores I go to in Philly have a variance of price points. Besides that, it was a cool store. It was like walking into the past, which was fun.
