I was a dolt and left my jacket on the plane when we arrived in Lehigh and didn't realize it until we were on our way to hotel. The next day while strolling around Jim Thorpe wearing nothing but a borrowed (thin) cardigan in cloudy, windy, 50 degree weather, we came across this beacon of hope on Broadway, a couple doors down where we were waiting for our table. I got the cutest fleece type jacket and scarf. The ladies there helped me pull it together and stay warm for the day and into the evening. All for 24 bucks. Woo hoo! They had lots of great stuff for reasonable prices. I'm happy they were there and I didn't have to spend 800 dollars on something haha! Great store, friendly service. Check them out!! read more

Will never use again for consignment. Took a lot of clothes (mostly Lands End) plus 6 pair of Naturalizer shoes and SAS shoes. I was given a receipt that said 1 tote of clothes and 1 of shoes. No actual description of goods left and no indication of price to be obtained. Before 100 days were up and I tried to get back what was left I was told they do not return anything under $25 (they control the price) so I could not get anything back. If you know shoes SAS cost about $200. By my calculations they sold everything for $200 as I only got $80 and I figure conservatively the original value was close to $2500 so they sold for $200 less than 10 cents on the dollar. If you do use them get everything in writing as to what was received, and the value placed on the item and that all unsold items are returned before 100 days are up regardless of their idea of value. read more

Stopped in this store due to my youngest daughter was needing shorts due to the weather was warmer then expected. Checking the racks there was shorts but she's a tiny thing and all were tad big. Two of the clerks (one named Tami the other I apologize not knowing the others) advised that there was a pair of "justice" shorts that were 1) blue like she loves 2) style she loves 3) fit her perfect behind the counter. The young ladies along with this store made our day and I can't say enough for the kindness, professionalism, and over all comfort of this establishment. Please stop in this store even if it's to just say hi to them. read more

The selection of brands at this second hand treasure shop is fire (D & G, Ralph Lauren, Gap). But the selection of brands is second best to who I presume the owner of the shop is. I went back and forth about posting this, but I decided to go with it because of how kind the gesture was. She legit gave me a tuxedo... for free. Repeat: I got a tuxedo for free. I was back and forth about getting the tuxedo, I tried it on, it fit like a glove, but I was hesitant since I am on a grad school budget. She heard me voicing my hesitations to my girlfriend, and just threw in the tuxedo with my girlfriends purchased for free. Unbelievable kindness, which seems to be a reflection of the very visible theme of karma all over this beautiful NEPA town. Only in Jim Thorpe, PA... thank you so much! Definitely go into this shop to browse the selection, but buy from this show to support a small business owner who really cares about customers/ people. read more
