First time visiting this facility, the Denver USO. It looks new. They were in about 45 minutes after I signed in. The service good, small selection of snacks chips sodas tea and water. Microwave noodles and pop tarts. Overall clean and free WiFi. It was not that crowded. They have a quiet room Ang their own bathroom.

Friendly staff/volunteers, lots of snack options, tables and chairs, a couple recliners, coffee (black + creamers + sugar) and water. Free wi-fi and tv access. Isn't open 24/7, but was a great break spot in the middle of the day. They also have some lighter sandwiches and hot dogs over the lunch hour. They get a delivery of voodoo donuts each morning which was fun to try!

A quick cheers before our flight!

I have a confession. I love going to the airport. I don't know if it's the excitement of knowing that I'm going somewhere for vacation, or simply the energy that surrounds it, but I love it. I know, I know, I'm an odd one. My husband on the other hand, hates the airport and arriving over an hour early for a scheduled flight makes for an even longer airport experience... For him! Thankfully, our flight to San Diego was located out of Terminal A, which allowed my husband (an AF veteran) and I to check out the USO. It's downright awesome because: ++ The space itself is large, accommodating to parties large and small and offer a variety of seating options. Spot in front of the tv? It's yours! Need a place to kick back with a good book? Right this way! How about a place to shower or a quiet room to nap before the next leg of your trip? Come on down! Literally so much room to spread out, relax and rest. ++ Active duty/retired/any veteran, their families, and even military dependents, without their loved ones, are given privilege to enter. Although I was with my husband, it was nice to know, if traveling without him, I would easily be welcomed. Simply check in at the front desk and you're golden. ++ Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is complimentary. The morning we arrived, the fridge was stocked with fresh juices (orange and apple), freshly brewed coffee, a bar full of snacks (think kind bars, bagged doughnuts, fruit, etc....), a case full of bakery style doughnuts, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, YOU NAME IT! They were even making waffles for guests upon entry! Besides food, USO offers free toiletries, books and magazines to read there or to take with you, free Wi-Fi and access to their movies, computers and more! ++ Staff is outstanding in helping to provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Many people I encountered were full of smiles, engaging in conversation, serving up waffles and constantly replenishing the cases/fridge. Everyone was so nice and it totally made the experience even better. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this spot, as they are insanely generous and extremely thankful to all service members and their family. I will certainly return before my next trip!

Some USO's will giev you crap and tell you that you can't come in if you are a Veteran. They claim USO's are for active duty and dependents only. I think that is wrong that dependents can go in there unaccompanied without their sponsor but veterans can not. I mean... we served our country. We deserve to relax. I am now 100% disabled veteran so they let me in. It was pretty full and noisy. But the seats were soooo comfy. It is a great get away for military and 100% veterans to sit in comfort and chill without a million people around and very uncomfortable seats. They have food and drinks. I dont know if they charge because I had my own food. There is a bathroom right outside the door. You just need to check in and show your military id. For kids they also have Nintendo to play, a darker room to rest in chairs or a little library.

This is a phenomenal USO. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, there is free Wi-Fi and plenty of complimentary food and snacks. This is a great place to spend time if you have a long layover. This is a really great benefit service members, veterans and their families.

Port in the storm(literally as we are at the moment under a tornado watch here in Denver). Very polite volunteers. Thank you for your time. Basic complimentary snacks, free WiFi, lots of comfortable seating and charging outlets. Patriotic pride is very evident in the decor. Go Army !

I didn't even know it was there. I was doing a long layover at the Denver airport. I had been laying down by my next gate trying to rest my eyes for over an hour when I decided I should go get some water. Then I saw the USO sign. Apparently Denver has a USO tucked away upstairs. You had to take an elevator up or you would never know it was there. I was quite happy as it's always nice to pop into a USO. It's a chance to run into some other vets, and grab a bite too. I went up and signed in at the front desk. A nice guy there pointed me on in to the place. It looked cozy. There was a wall of windows that looked out over the atrium in this terminal. I was able to grab a hotdog and a cola and plop down. It was a nice space, with people talking in groups here and there. I must have looked road tired as I was offered a bunk in the back to take a nap. I had no time left, my flight was coming up. So I headed to my gate, making a mental note that the Denver USO was a great place to stop in.

Bartenders take their time and actually talk to you instead of slinging drinks like they're punching a clock. Showers are a real perk if you're coming off a redeye, but get on the list early or grab a staff member when you walk in. The toiletries are high-end and smell great. Buffet servers and front desk staff were friendly every interaction. One real gripe: not enough power outlets. Plenty of tables have zero chargers nearby, and when the lounge fills up you end up hunting for a spot. Bring a portable battery if you're depending on a charge before boarding. There are 3 levels. The buffet is on Level 3. Food is ok, cheese plates, some hot items like pasta, ravioli, ans soups, sandwiches, salads etc. There are coffee makers, soft drinks, water, tea, etc. There are 2 bars. You can check your flight status on the big screen. Free wifi. They only allowed you check in to the club 3 hours before your flight. Overall, it is nice to unwind and get some privacy between flights. But if your lay-over is less than 2 hours, it might not be worth it since Denver Airport is very nice with plenty of sofa and lounging chairs. Why not 5 stars: - the club is closed at 9 PM. - food is just ok - bathroom is clean but not enough ventilation... so it can get really stinky! - cost - it does not have other facilities like those international lounges (shower, massage chair, etc.)

Instead of offering assistance, he returned my ticket and responded in a very brief and dismissive tone: "Go downstairs and you'll find it."
