Apparently they had destroyed the box and it was my responsibility to bring 'bags and boxes' to pick up my things $108 2nd box was finally delivered. Looked like they had played soccer with it. Post Master was not there the day I came in. Supervisor was extremely rude. Told me that they can't be responsibility for the handling of boxes from 1 location to another. The mural, painted by Sheffield Kagy , depicts Luray in 1840 with Louis Ramey's blacksmith shop, farmers and horses with houses and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. Not only is the massive colonial brick building historic, built in 1938, built it has many unique architectural features. Inside is fabulous! Lots of rich wood paneling with artistic cutouts, brass mailboxes and mail slots, gold lettering at the windows, yet the wood floor has been preserved by adding carpet. No passport service but it is handicap accessible. Hours Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30

Make sure to check the hours online before heading there as the service window is closed in the middle portion of the day. Remember it is a very small post office and that is the charm of it.
