I'm blown away by how poorly this USPS location does their job. My package was supposed to arrive yesterday by 9pm despite it arriving to the building by 7 in the morning. It's currently 10 am the following day and there's no update on delivery! And since it's now sunday, I can't expect anything to change until tomorrow. You guys need to seriously step it up. What else are you doing if not delivering packages?? This isn't my first negative experience with this location either. read more

This "distribution center" is an utter disgrace and has been since it opened. And nobody at USPS gives a damn. I dread anytime a package I'm expecting arrives at this dumpster fire. Latest experience: Last week a package I'm waiting on left Kentucky, arrived in Chicago, left Chicago and arrived in Oak Creek. I am a business owner and I have two boxes that have sat in the Oak Creek facility for 8 business days. My customer paid for priority mail 1 to 3 business days and today is the 11th day since my customer has NOT received their boxes in South Carolina. Our local post office and the one in the nearby village have told us that this facility keeps receiving complaint after complaint after complaint. I don't know what goes on at this distribution center, but every time tracking shows it there I know it will be a multi-day stall! Then, the question is whether it will actually be directed to the appropriate next stop, as to how much more it will be delayed. My boyfriend sent my phone in the mail to me from WI to NY A MOOOOOONTH AGOOOOO. It has been bouncing back and forth between Oak Creek and "Mid NY" FOR WEEKS. WHERE TF IS MY PHONE???? I have a package that had shown it was sitting there for over a day, so I left a bad review at first. But I've come back to amend that review and say that this business does what it can. Maybe others have had a bad hand dealt to them or maybe they were short staffed or it was over the holidays when we all know that the e mail, especially packaged run so much slower because of all the packages postal carriers have to handle. We do need more! But this place, I really never had a problem with! They have always sent my package to the next place and I've always got my delivery a day early from what it said I would get it. The one thing that they could change is not showing it's sitting there, maybe say it's in transit or maybe it might the the other apps I use to track my packages as well like Route and Shop. There is NO excuse for the utter chaos that is the Oak Creek distribution center. Not only should anyone even remotely involved with this facility be embarrassed but should be disgusted. There is NO recourse or accountability for lost packages. You have damaged my business reputation cost me hundreds of dollars in refunds , and effectively brought shame to the United States Postal service. I ship worldwide and not any other country state or city do worse than you. Overseas packages take less time. So god forbid any of your packages have to go through Oak Creek Wisconsin. The average time they sit is over 3 weeks! There is nothing you can say that makes this acceptable! read more

recently got a package delivered at my house, a few days before someone ran over our mail box. i've been trying to contact oak creek post office so they can check if they received my package and it gave me a robot instead. because my main office business says they don't deal with packages so go to the closest USPS near me. it didn't even give me the option to speak to a real person that's working at the post office. even going in person was super chaotic and the staff did not help me with my issue. it's not my fault someone backed into my mailbox, it's frustrating because i have no response as to where my mail or packages went. from my office building to the post office. read more

What is the standard procedure if a package does not fit in my small apartment complex mail box? I ordered something from Amazon that was being mailed through the US Postal Service. The carrier left it on the floor in front of the mail boxes. I thought the package was to delivered to my apartment. This happened on a Saturday and I was out. I have always had great experiences at the Oak Creek post office. They do a great job with minimum staff. They are always courteous. I have been mailing Christmas cookies to my daughter who has lived all across the country as well as in Hawaii for the last 8 years. The package always arrives on time and the cookies are in perfect condition. Couldn't ask for more. I have a great appreciation for the USPS; they really do provide an important service. read more

This Oak Creek distribution center is terrible. I have a package that didn't get scanned so there is no picture and it is lost. I've called the local post office in oak creek, consumer affairs in WI and the main usps line multiple times without any answers. they all say they have no way of contacting the oak creek distribution center and can give no assistance other than just telling me to submit a lost mail claim. I opened a claim and it was closed within 3 hours of being opened with the note that it had been resolved although my package is still missing and no one contacted me. I wish there was some way of avoiding this distribution center all together since there appears to be no oversight and no consequences for unwillingness of employees to do their jobs. read more

USPS in Oak Creek.... They literally send my packages to the wrong address nearly every time. Sometimes they send it to just the wrong suite number with same address...and sometimes even to random addresses miles away. They have about a 50% accuracy rate with me for sending my packages to the right address. And to contact them... you will be on hold for 1-2 hours on average typically. Shopping online is becoming more of a hassle than going to a store now a days since receiving packages is always a really long ordeal of figuring out where my stuff is and how to get it. read more

My package arrived a week ago at this facility and they still have not accepted it or shipped out. Called to ask and the customer service rep didn't have an answer besides "it takes a while." I could have driven to Georgia and back in the time that the package has been in Oak Creek, 5 minutes from me, awaiting "processing." Avoid anything that processes through UPS in this area, use another carrier for your parcel and ask them if they will transfer to UPS. Don't let them, unless you're ok with paying for expedited shipping and then still waiting 2 weeks. read more

Although I live in Franklin (and they deliver our mail), this post office is slightly closer to my house. It has longer hours, is always better stocked with supplies (i.e., assortment of priority shipping materials), and is *deep breath* much friendly than those working at the Franklin office. I'm an, "experienced shipper" (utilize online services, pre-pay, etc.) so when I come in I'm usually just dropping off, but when I have had questions or concerns, the staff has been very helpful, friendly, and even made me laugh. I really respect the job the post office does and you should too. This office deserves credit for being top notch in the area. read more

This facility has had terrible service for years and using the excuse that Covid and Holidays is causing delays is just plan not true ! They never had good service . Packages sit there for over a week and many times get sent to wrong place when it does ever move out of their facility . It is the Worst distribution station in country others are moving packages! this post office has a horrible lady manager....my mail container rusted out so bad that they have to replace it. was told it could take weeks or a month. since i am disabled and don't drive i called and asked if they would bring my mail & pkgs to my door. they said fine...no problem...for the time it takes to get a new mailbox installed.... i called yesterday to get the mailed delivedred again...and i spoke to a so called " boss " there and she said w/o a dr's letter they can't do this for me...so i have to wait a month to get my mail??? the carrier goes right past my door and she won't let him deliver my mail?? this sucks......overpaid a..h..es...... read more
