This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a post office. I'm used to the long lines…read moreand understaffed. But on 19 Feb 20 the lady working the counter at noon made it clear that she did not like the working conditions or that she respected her managers. She also began to be very rude and upset when I would not buy the flat rate boxes but instead wanted to mail in a regular envelope. I had to listen to a lecture about how the post office workers run it through machines and sometimes that causes items to be lost. The complaining about your job in from of the consumer is unprofessional and not needed. Finally I understand the up-sale but I don't need to hear about mistreatment of packaging. This was the first time I have had such a bad experience. It made me miss the professional staff at the Universal City TX post office.

I had a few Christmas packages to mail and stopped in here on my lunch break. This is a very small…read morebut fully functioning post office. They close for lunch at 1pm and reopen at 2. There is only one employee in here at any given time and there were about 4 people in line. The line moved quickly and the employee was super nice. Even though it's small you can do anything at this post office you need. Pick up stamps, mail parcels, change your address. There is also a drop box right in front and another one in the large lot of this huge shopping center. If you need anything post office related and don't want to brave one of the main branches try this one in Ambassador Row.

All of her daily moods, thus far, have been pretty 'meh', so I'm guessing she's a 'bah humbug' type of person. That being said, I can take it one step further. Debra(?), who works in the post office, must be the maxi to Danielle's mini. When my mail or packages come in, she has, in recent days, told my carrier to send everything back to the senders. Here's the real deal... I just recently moved my mobile home to a lot that did not have an actual 'address', so a street address was assigned. I put in a change of address and was in the process of putting a mailbox up. They were 'keeping' my mail for me for 15 days, (unbeknownst to me, they were sending packages back to sender, AND I didn't even know I had packages to pick up). Now, my daughter was told it didn't matter which side of the road it was on, so up went the box. Great, right? Noooo...mail carrier says it's on the wrong side of the road, so no mail delivery for me. See, the post office is one street up and two blocks over, and apparently if you live within a certain distance of our P.O., they don't deliver; you have to rent one of their boxes. The problem is that I'm disabled, I don't have a car, and I can't stand for 15 minutes without pain, much less walk that distance to pick up my mail. That's why I was allowed to put up a box. I don't think the two of them are happy about it; maybe it put a kink into their well oiled cogs? We'll see. I know how to follow a chain of command, and I intend to do just that. This saga is to be continued... (Because I don't just lie down and whimper.)

They're incredibly efficient and will help you get your package to the destination in the best time for the best rate. I've only seen these two women work the front but they are always smiling. They have helped me readdress and fix my shipping service countless times. One of the best post offices I've been to. If you're picking up something from behind the door, they take forever to answer. I have waited for 15 minutes many times and after they answer they're slow to retrieve the package. Also note: the day after holidays and Monday's are always busy during peak times so plan accordingly!
