I had a package coming to me accidentally left at the wrong address. I called the local P.O. phone number and spoke with someone by the name of Anna. She located/tracked the package by their GPS system, apologized for the error, and went to the wrong address and picked it up from there, then delivered it to me all in the same day. That is great customer service! Made me appreciate my small home town. I imagine if I lived in NYC, I would likely still be waiting on my package. read more

If I could rate this zero stars I would. DO NOT mail anything using the Pitney Bowes tracking numbers (like Etsy). It will just sit there for weeks and never gets scanned, never get mailed, just stuck. They can't find it either. They are pretty much useless. Not sure if they just place it in the trash or what?? They could get out of their vehicle and walk to the door and hand me my item. Not just drive all the way up to the house sit there for a minute and then back out the driveway (500') no drop off. Not 10 minutes later I get a message saying they could not deliver my packages. Why? Could not get out of the car, or honk the horn and I would have walked out. This is unacceptable.! read more

Last month, they lost one of my packages. No explanation - they are still "looking for it" but what does that mean?? This month, I ordered 2 necklaces for my great grand daughter. They said the first one was put in my mailbox along with two other packages. The other packages were there, but the necklace was not. I guess I will have to reorder???? The second necklace arrived at the post office. They said they "attempted" delivery????? My mailbox wasn't locked or blocked by anything????? Now I am going to have to go to her celebration with no gifts thanks to the USPS!!!! it just makes me want to sit down and cry. I am so disappointed and she will be, too. read more

Lived in 6 different states. Have never experienced a post office as bad as the Soddy Daisy office. Packages often go undelivered; mail delivered to the wrong address, as well as other peoples mail in our box; and on some days the mail never even runs down our street. This location is in dire need of new leadership. read more

Horrible. The last at the counter can NEVER find my packages. The carrier never indicates how many there are so I have to make multiple trips to get everything. They've been holding my packages for a week without giving a notice in my box and refuse to allow me to pick them up without the notice and the packages are set to be returned to the company. If you call, they trek you customer Service can't hero you it's all Covids fault. This is BS. read more

Attention everyone if u have ur mail held here at the Soddy daisy TN post office and a check is coming in from my experience and others you will not get check I have had 15 checks resent back to me and it always gets lost here if it's a check it does gets cashed is what I'm told by social security but hopefulky this fraud will end soon I like Soddy but the post office here is a disappointment to the community . read more

I had a package postponed a day for no reason other then the mail carrier didn't want to leave their vehicle. Watching the tracking information it went from Out for Delivery to Rescheduled for Next Delivery Day. I called the Soddy Daisy Post Office to get an explanation and spoke with someone by the name of Kevin claiming to be the manager. He talked really fast and was very short with me, trying to get me off the phone while all I was trying to do was get an explanation. He said he wanted to get the side of the story from the mail carrier, who wouldn't be there until after business hours when their route was done. He went on to say that maybe the carrier was obstructed by an animal in the yard. There were no animals in the yard and all mail that wasn't a large package was delivered to the mailbox without issue. I told him to call them and have the package delivered as scheduled and he refused and became very belligerent with me. I told him I was filing and complaint and he told me to go ahead and tell them his name was Bryce, after already telling me earlier his name is Kevin. read more
