I've had multiple packages "lost" through this post office within the last 2 years. The absolute…read moreworst and most shocking instance of all however happened this week when I opened up my mailbox (that requires a key) and my package was ripped open and the contents were stolen. I filed a claim and called the local branch about 100xs. You'll rarely get ANYONE to answer. Someone finally called me back in regards to my claim and I guess had my claim mixed up with someone else's and were shocked and told me they would review the cameras regarding my stolen contents and get back to me. Naturally they never called back. Finally got someone on the phone the next day and got put on hold for 20+ minutes until they closed. Horrible horrible service. Cannot believe my 100$ leggings were just stolen right out of my package. Awful.

Parking is available at the door and I went in and was number 2 in line and quickly became number one purchase my stamps and the staff at the post office or top-notch very friendly helpful as well as courteous. This post office like other facilities offers Post Office boxes for rent mailing and shipping fees around the state and around the world. The facility and surrounding grounds were found to be very clean neat and orderly and next time I'm in the area and have a need for the Post Office this is where I will stop. They take cash and credit cards for payment.

In sweltering heat, freezing cold and torrential downpours they still come through. They all do their best to see that every customer gets the mail and packages to the addresses where they are supposed to go. With the high volume of pieces they process and deliver a few late deliveries would be the norm for any business. Try a little kindness folks... Try walking in their shoes a time or two. My sweet Grandma always wanted to take that train ride, and I don't recall if she did or not; however, I sure hope she did. As others mentioned the Chattanooga Aquarium is a good one! It's fun to view the one location where you can see seven states atop Lookout Mountain! I still fondly recall the Kid Rock show I attended at McKenzie Arena in Chattannoga! There is a lot of history in Chattannoga! From Trail of Tears landmarks to prominent Civil War landmarks. Chatanooga truly does offer something for everyone!

The landlord even held it vacant for two months while they were in the process of moving. That's Tennessee folks for you. I'm posting photos of their home. You can see my uncle in one looking gruntled about getting in the photo. I love their space and the look of their housing community. I believe it's gated. My aunt and uncle are in their 80's but still drive. You have to have a car in Chattanooga. They do have a convenient parking space near the apartment.
