I love this dentist office so much, but I won't ever return. I had regular cleaning done on March 30, 2026. While finishing up I was presented with a plan for a root canal estimated at $3400 when it was all said and done. I declined the plan, and paid for the service I had that day ( in cash $114.00) and then was told... Sorry we don't have change I just gave you a credit for the next visit. That was the most audacious thing I've ever heard, this front desk could accept my money and make an entire proposal for their company of close to $4000.00 and yet they don't have five dollars for change. It was again mind blowing. This kind of behavior really goes to show you, it's not about doing the correct thing, it's about scrapping pennies from people. The staff is so polite, but that's unreal to keep $5 after asking me to spend $3500.00. this company isn't for the people I HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere before visiting. Kindness does not justify that kind of nonsense. read more

It's been about 15 years that I've been making medical decisions for my Family and myself, and Save Dental in St. George Utah has been the best dental practice that I have experience. I accidentally chipped a back molar and was worried about trying to get in a last-minute appointment before I did more damage Save Dental in St. George was able to slide me in the next day after I called and even get a cap on my molar the same day as my cleaning appointment. I am so relieved to have this taken care of where I don't have to worry about it at all. The staff was amazing; kind, sweet, patient, and the cleaning didn't bother me at all even the x-rays were an easy task. The front office staff, hygienist and dentists are all great! They did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and were really good with my kids and did a great job cleaning their teeth. Even though we don't have dental insurance, it was less than $300 for the 4 of us to have a full dental exam, x-rays, cleanings and fluoride. I recommend them for everyone! read more

So when I looked on yelp I was nervous to try these guys. I had heard great things about them from friends who went but I am a big review guy. Due to being self insured and needing quite a bit of dental work I needed to try using a different dentist then the one I have used for over 15 years. I was very impressed with save dental and doctor Jackson. The staff was really great and the prices were affordable to me. If you check their reviews on other sites you will find they are very well liked by their clients. I felt like I needed to leave some love here on yelp. I was a new client and knew nobody at this office. They did everything as good as my other dentist and were very kind. read more

So I got Dentures in August they lasted until March before I had a tooth fallout of the bottom Denture I came in to the office to leave my Broken Denture for them to send out to repair I walked to the office had my Blu tooth headphones in my ear and because of my Loud voice the Dentist asked me to not return to his office in the future I apologized he said it didn't matter not to return what could I say but I did tell one of the staff no problem I would not come back Unless something else happens to my Denture and Sure enough in April another tooth failed and broke off on the Upper denture so Now I guess we will see each other in Small claims court to see if a Judge agrees with him not standing behind his work .... read more

Pros: Great prices, and if you need something quickly they can usually fit you in same-day. The office is clean and comfortable and the equipment is up-to-date. All staff are friendly and dentists and hygienists take the time to talk to you. Cons: There seem to be some staffing issues. I've been to several dentists and have never been told upon arrival that I can't get a cleaning because the hygienist is absent. This happened to me once (to their credit, they tried to call ahead but my phone was off), but happened to another person in the waiting room the second time I came in. I had some composite put around my two front teeth to fill in an inherited gap about 10 years ago (different dentist). During the cleaning, the hygienist did such a thorough job that she broke it off! I looked like I'd been shot with a bb gun. However, they fixed it for free, and the dentist did a fantastic job filling in the hole. The weird thing was that the hygienist didn't own up to it, even though I warned her before the cleaning where the composite was. The hole she made was pretty obvious. read more

I noted the dates on the comments. I'm not certain if the people I saw were the same employees as worked in this office in 2014, 2016 or 2017. I've been going to dentists all of my adult life (50 years) and have always brushed and flossed but would only see a dentist if there was an immediate problem (in other words, not every six months, as I should have). Two years ago, in St. George, I had a dentist (from another dental office) replace a crown. The normal set of x-rays were taken, and the crown shape was computer-generated, and then the crown was made in a lab. That crown fell off after only a year and I really didn't want to go back to that particular dentist to have the crown glued back into place. Now I count myself very lucky! Save Dental did a complete set of x-rays and I was shown on the computer images where bone loss and other issues were occurring. I was stunned! I had no idea--no other dentist had ever mentioned any problems! I had to have nine crowns done and it was tricky work--five had to be done together in order to function properly. Dr. Jackson is an absolute genius. I have never been to a better dentist. He did all my crowns and the look and feel are fantastic. I may have to have future work done (root canals) but those issues are mine because I simply didn't go in for routine checkups and/or problems were not noted by other dentists. I've also had chronic neck pain for 35 years, where my neck muscles "torque," and with the replacement of the five old crowns on the left side of my mouth, that horrible chronic pain disappeared. The man is a genius! His office support and dental assistants, especially Alba, are exceptional. read more

I thought I had made a mistake, I made an appt and thought it was for a different place. Got there and decided to keep the appt. I made...well let me tell you, it was NOT a mistake. Someone was looking out for me ! The dental hygienist was the best, I have had many not so good , or nice or their own hygiene not so good. I saw Jill, she was gentle, caring, extremely knowledgeable and kind. Dr Salmon had a fabulous chair side manor, he was very good at securing my confidence (previously have had some not so great dental visits ) I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone and everyone ! % out of 5 Stars !!! I went to Half Dental over 35 miles away from where I live on a co workers recommendation. My first appointment was not noted in their schedule. 1st clue. I was seen and treated by a very good dentist and his assistant. On my next visit, I was informed they had not sent my work to the lab and were very sorry for the mix up. After I complained, they had the lab pick up my work and turn it around same day. 2nd clue. For my next appt. my dentist was out of town but I agreed to see the other dentist in the office. Big mistake. We did not hit it off right away. I was not told this process would take another 3 appts. I explained the problems I already experienced and he was both uninterested and arrogant. He said he had other patients to see and he was doing me a favor by agreeing to work on me in the other dentists absence. The conversation went down hill from there. I finally took the half finished denture they were making and a refund of my $1000. The overall experience was unprofessional and everyone but the office manager needs some people skills training and how to handle an office in an acceptable manner. Amazing service here. Came in to be greeted by a wonderful front desk staff where they got me checked in right away. I got brought back by the assistant that was going to help the doctor with my procedure. Dr. Jackson was super friendly and I could tell I was in good hands.
