This was a super enjoyable experience for our first ever river-rapids rafting adventure! We are on an epic road trip from Oklahoma and my husband wanted to go white water rafting while staying in Park City. Bob was a fantastic guide. He showed us a lot of nature and pointed out interesting geological formations. The bald eagles were especially fascinating. Bob had the 8 of us paddling as a team and aimed us at the biggest waves in the rapids. He had both our grandsons "riding the bull" after some initial reluctance. Definitely recommend this business and if you like white water rafting you are going to enjoy the ride. Went with the family a couple weeks ago while in Park City it was an epic adventure. We started off by getting fitted with life vests, oars, and a debrief on what to expect during the ride and the do's/don'ts of rafting. Our guide and entertainment for the ride was Charley and if you can request him do it he will make your time on the ride worth it. The ride overall was amazing, the views were picturesque, the water was cold but very refreshing to jump into to cool off in. My wife (who's very first time it was) had a doubts about the ride but she loved it and said she would do it again. He was super nice, answered all my questions, and texted additional information. It was so easy to set up the trip. My family was one of 4 groups. Each group had their own raft with a guide. The entire crew was very friendly and accommodating to the guests. Tyler took pictures along the trip and emailed them to the group within a few hours. This was included in the price. What an added bonus it was to receive 25-30 pictures of my family's adventure on the Weber River! My husband, two kids (ages 9 and 16), and I enjoyed spending time with our guide Devon. This guy knew what he was doing! He allowed my children to "ride the bull" and to jump in the cool water. The rapids are class II so it's a great ride for beginners of all ages. It was lots of flat areas with a few small drop offs. You are paddling throughout the trip. Our favorite parts included dodging the rocks in rock garden, barely skimming under concussion bridge, and taking a break at party beach. The landscape changes quite a bit and along the way you get a close up of Devil's Slide. Our trip started around 1PM and ended a little after 4 PM. The ride back to the starting point took less than 10 minutes. We had a great time with Utah Outdoor Adventures! read more
