If there were 10 stars they would get it. Snowmobiling was incredible and once in a lifetime experience. From start to finish this team was incredible. Extremely helpful when emailing as we needed 2 different times as we had to split into 2 groups due to little ones. They were extremely helpful and flexible. Customer service was spectacular and the ride itself was outstanding. Our guides were incredible and created an exciting tour and even gave us some "tips" along the way. If you are looking for an adventure you need to contact them. The area we went to during the tour was like from another world. So beautiful, so peaceful and just made you enjoy life. I highly recommend red pine adventures for the most fun snowmobiling tour when in park city. Making reservations for our party of 6 was a breeze. This is so fun, our tour guides Jenny, roger and some one with a "C" so hard to hear with masks.. were so amazing and helpful! This was the most fun 90 min adventure, very high quality snowmobiles. They showed us how to go down a hill, I was so scared but our guides helped and encouraged so I could do it! We went up 9000 feet elevation.. some of the most scenic views. I took my best friend here for a surprised birthday horseback riding experience. Booking the reservation was super easy as they operate 7 days a week (weather permitting) and have a number of great time slots. We arrived 15 minutes early, as instructed, and were quickly greeted and checked in by our guide Jenny. For our ride, Roger and Jenny fitted us to horses and made sure that all the necessary saddle adjustments were made for our comfort. They went over the simple commands for the horses and we set out on the trail. Our ride was gorgeous, being a Utah native it is hard do show me something new, but the views and nature were lovely! Our guides were great conversation and very attentive to make sure that we all kept up and were comfortable. They adjusted the route as necessary, since nature is unpredictable. We loved our time here. I am already thinking about bringing my boyfriend back for an adventure later this summer. read more

We did a private group of 7 for 2 hours of snowmobiling. They picked us up promptly, and we checked in, got our gear, and headed out. We were dropped off at the star of the trail in the Colony. Our guides were Kelly and Jenny. They gave a quick but descriptive overview of how to operate the machines, what to do/not to do, etc. and we were on our way! It had just snowed the day before so we got some good fresh snow - it was awesome! They took us through some trails before we got to an open meadow. We went down a hill and had time to just go around and do our thing before we continued on some more narrow trails through trees. Our guides were friendly, professional, and were so patient with us for all the times we asked them to take photos of our group. You get some amazing views! It was clear when we started and started snowing when we got higher up to the look out/ ridge so visibility was a little more limited but you could still see the old mine. I've gone snowmobiling 2 other times in Mammoth and this experience was 100x better. So worth it! Highly recommend! read more

DO NOT trust this company. I would give Red Pine adventures 0 stars if it were possible. We scheduled a Christmas Eve snowmobile tour in November. We did not hear anything back from them until the morning before we were schedule to ride. They claimed the weather made them cancel but other companies were still up and operating normally. We called Wasatch Excursions and they were completely accommodating and added us to there schedule at the last minute. I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. I had never been Snowmobiling before, and it was definitely quite the experience. I've been four wheelin' before, so it just seemed natural to give it a shot. The cost is about $132 after taxes for 2 hours of riding. What you get for the two hours is about 45 minutes of free-play time in two areas, and guided tour through some terrain. I'm a big fan of effin around on our own, so it was good to get a good amount of play time in. First the guides will take you into a meadow where you can get used to the sled and open things up if you want to. We did this for about 20 minutes or so, the meadow is really big and empty so it was cool. Then we went in through the trees (I loved this part!) on some really skinny trails, suuuper cutty. And they brought us to the next open area. Second area was a lot better since it was larger and there was much more to see. They take you this huuge hill which was pretty awesome. Then after about another 25 minutes, they take you through some more trees and to this look out of park city. Pretty cool! After all of that, they take you back to van for a ride back to their cabin. In the cabin there was a bunch of photos with celebs like Karl Malone, Katie Couric...Not sure if that means they're good or not...hah. The guides were just OK I think, very hands off. Not very informative, but it was still cool. I heard Daniels Summit is really good, we tried to go there, but it ended up being too far from where we were. read more

CHOSE RED PINE! For my birthday this year I wanted to ride horses- relive a few childhood memories and find a ride fun enough for adults. Living locally, I researched all of the stables, called a few and chose Red Pine. Here's why today's ride was phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone: 1. Friendly rangers and horses with great temperaments. Everyone was ready to have a good, energetic ride while eliminating the stresses that can come with horses. 2. The ride was spectacular! The trail took you into the forest and along wide lookout paths. You felt adventurous while crossing streams and looking out over Park City while remaining on comfortable trails at all times. 3. Priced great! Most other stables cost as much for a shorter ride. 4. No boredom. When you think group horse ride you think slow trail walking, you falling asleep, the hour dragging by in boredom. This is their greatest achievement in my opinion!! The ride is incredibly engaging - you maneuver your horse through streams, trails surrounded by wild vegetation and up rocky slopes. They keep a nice pace and the terrain transitions so many times there is always a new challenge. 5. Comfortable accommodations: not only do they spend extra time making you comfortable with your saddle, they also provide bags for personal belongings and water after the ride! 6. Conveniently located near the highway. You aren't spending thirty minutes trekking to nowhere to get the same great views. read more

Took the snowmobile ride. It didn't travel as high as some of its competitors, didn't have as much space to travel but it was close by and was a decent time. The thing that bothered me most was after paying about $215 plus a good tip, I couldn't even get a callback from one of the tour guides, Hayley after three phone calls and assurances to do so. Since we weren't sure of how safe our cellphone would be travelling at high speed through heavy snow, we didn't take our phone with us. We simply asked Hayley to take a video of us. It seemed like he did so. But when we asked him to call us back so he could email us, no return phone call, no attempt, NADA. We even left a message for the company and again no call back, poor service! read more

We have a 10 year old daughter and she was very nervous about riding and one of our guides Jen was absolutely excellent with JiJi, made her feel so comfortable. The ride was unbelievable, we rode through a forest and streams and we literally rode up a mountain and when we reached the top the views were absolutely breathtaking. Great day riding horses. Don't expect to set off running, this is a nice ride up through the aspens and pine trees along a ski slope. The horses are gentle and your trail guides stay with you the entire way up and back. If you're under 18 you must wear a helmet. I saw a teenager try to flake out on her parents because she didn't want to take down her messy bun and wear a helmet so prepare yourself ahead of time. It can get chilly so bring a jacket. I rode Scout. He was a little slow and liked to eat. My husband rode Commander a nice big horse with great coloring. My daughter rode McClintock a great big gassy fellow who was still gentle for a teenager - who didn't care if her hair got messed up. read more

Very disappointed in our experience. I called to insure there was enough snow and was told yes. We were not taken to the normal location, but had to take a van ride then to the Canyons gondola , wait in line to ride up. We then had to sit on the trail waiting for them to dig out several teenagers who would go off the trail. This happened numerous times and the guides did not stop the two teenagers from getting off the trail. Much of our two hour tour was spent, in transportation to the location and waiting on the trail. My biggest disappointment was I requested a call from the general manager and did not get one. I would suggest Daniels Summit or Thousand Peaks. read more
