It got to be very entertaining to see what they would do instead of not helping me. To get our shoes we had to fill out what we needed on an iPad that was by the shoes. That was the only way we could get someone's attention. Once we found out what shoes we wanted we had to wait again at the desk because we needed to get the right replacements for the bottom of the shoes. The only way we got someone to help us was to fill out the iPad again that we needed another pair of shoes, but we said no we just need your help once the guy showed up. When we went to check out, we were found out we were given the wrong shoes and so we went and got the sample one so they could get us the right pair. The girl was totally bugged, but they got a pair that was $100 more. I'm going to notice that??? The cashier was very unfriendly, and was also bugged! We stepped back so she could help other customers while we waited. We could've just stood there, made the customers wait while we waited for my correct shoes-- but thought we'd be nice... she didn't smile, say thank you, etc... My boys have played baseball, football, lacrosse, and now golf, and we've always liked Dicks to get their gear. We will not be returning. I'm still amazed as I think about all the employees that walked past us that never once asked how they could help us. One guy had an earpiece in so it looked like he was maybe more in charge than the others and he actually walked past three times with no words said or eye contact! Pretty sad!!! I understand they work in different parts of the store, but they could've called someone to come and help us very easily! We are going to get shoes elsewhere and return the shoes in the morning. He proceeded to continue talking to another man, skipped me over to help a woman about socks then skipped me over AGAIN to help a "walk-in". I went to ask if there was another person help me and he walked over and said it's by appnt only!!! Meanwhile he helped two other "walk-ins" after my turn. Done - there are plenty of amazing options in Utah. They just LOST a great customer that has spent a lot of money at Gorsuch.

I asked where to get my fishing license and the young man cheerfully gave me precise instructions. Once I arrived at customer service I was greeted warmly and in less than 5 minutes I had my license. I chose 1 year but you can choose from a good variety of options up to three years! 5 star experience... While I walked about I was asked by a floor monitor if they could assist me with anything... I asked T question and they responded kindly good people in the store. I got some Iowa beef sticks... they also had good variety of jerky... that meaty juicy type not dried. I asked AI what are the top 5 most popular lures that work best in Utah and the store had all of them. I took them, a great Nike T shirt and my beefsteak at the cashiers near the entrance, paid and bid good day. I'd shop this place again.

(I had several questions) 10 minutes in golf department. Same story. 20 minutes in BBQ and the two guys there seemed more worried about the display looking great than offering help. If you catch it at the wrong time, good luck finding a place to park because the lot is tiny. Inside, the store isn't large, but it packs a punch for what it has. A lot of items are discounted 30% or 40% (or more, depending on the event). Some of the items are samples and/or irregular items, so the discount(s) can be pretty steep. One of the best parts of this is that for someone who is out of town, they will ship your purchase for free. So I always take advantage of that because why pack it in your luggage when they'll do that for you? It's a great outlet with pretty stellar deals and a great selection. 100% worth the stop.

The store also offers repairs for Patagonia products. This is great opportunity to get repairs done right at the shop. I've been told repairs are reasonably priced when product is out of warranty.
