When I came into the store, I was limping. After trying on new shoes, I was able to walk much better, which was a big relief. Unfortunately, my one-star rating is due to the customer service. The sales representative listed on my receipt, Aly W., was less than helpful. She seemed flustered and in a hurry for me to leave the store. I felt rushed and uncomfortable, even though I was clearly struggling to walk and needed assistance finding the right pair. Because I felt pressured and desperate for relief, I ended up purchasing a pair that did not turn out to be the best fit, even though they felt okay at first. About 30 minutes later, I returned because the shoes were hurting my feet. During the exchange, Aly appeared to have been on break and seemed annoyed to assist me. While I understand that everyone has difficult moments, there was no reason to make me feel like a burden. If she was unable to help at that time, it would have been more professional to ask another employee to assist me. I ultimately purchased a men's pair because I was told the women's version was not available. I spent $180 + tax. Thankfully, my toes are improving, and I hope to return to my regular women's size soon. However, due to this experience, I do not plan on returning to Ogden Running Company on Washington Blvd. Customer service has a significant impact, especially when a customer is in pain and genuinely needs help. No one should feel rushed or unwelcome when seeking assistance. It took me more than three months to feel comfortable enough to write this review.

Last year I purchased an inflatable two man boat, the Dragonfly from Dave Scadden Paddle Sports…read more After I purchased the boat I asked Mr. Scadden what the warranty is on the boat. He said "lifetime warranty." I replied back "lifetime" and he said "yes, even if it flies out of the back off your pickup and the vehicle behind you runs over it." I thought, who would be so stupid as to not tie down the boat so it couldn't fly out of your truck or utility trailer. Last week on our way up to Rockport reservoir on I-84, a motor home in the lift lane started to come into our lane. We had to move over on to the emergency lane and ran over rumble strips. The bouncing of the rumble strips caused one of the hook anchors on the outside of my utility trailer to fatigue and brake off. This only left one strap holding the boat and after a mile or so the other tie down broke also. In the mirror we could see the boat come off the trailer and bounce down the freeway and then rest in the emergency lane, thankful it did not come to rest on the freeway lanes. The boat was a little scuffed up but the metal frame was bent in several places and cracked also. Called Dave and told him how embarrassed I was to tell him my boat came out of my trailer. He laughed and said "bring the frame down and he would fix me up. He said he gets four to five calls a year on this happening. Dave graciously took the damaged frame parts and exchanged them for new ones. I want to say here Dave Scadden Paddle Sports is a man of his word. I was afraid he was pulling my leg on the warranty part about it coming out of your vehicle. DSPS products are top notch, high quality products, will stand up to tough use, even coming out of your vehicle by accident going down the road. I purchased a dragon fly 3 person fishing raft from Dave scadden…read more It was a package except you don't get a spare oar So we payed an 500 for one oar. This boat is flat and absolutely has no racker. It's frame is a three piece and literally moves when rowing or in any amount of currents. We snapped a oar in slow water back rowing . This boat is advertised as class 5 ready. Don't waste your money. We upgraded the oars to sawer oars. 1200 dollars later. We waited months to receive are extra seat and all the other accessories we didn't get in the original order. The materials are super thin and we experienced two holes in less than ten trips. We did eventually get a refund on the oar put it took two months and we had to eat the shipping costs. Along with a lecture about how good the oars are. Buyers beware!!
