Dr. Rose was a good surgeon for me. However, Brooke the aesthetician, did not give me the complete number of face treatments that I paid for. I paid for a series of face treatments to eliminate the dark spots on my skin. She decided that I should exchange a face treatment for an "fat" treatment that she had done wrong in the first place. I see Natalie about once a month for facials and Secret RF treatments. I could not say enough great things about her. My skin has drastically changed since seeing her. She is patient with my questions, does research if she doesn't know the answer right away and is diligent about getting me to a point where I am happy with my skin. Absolutely horrible! This place looks nice from the outside and has a good location by the Galleria so I had high expectations. I bought a living social/groupon/Amazon local deal for a "deep cleaning facial" that was supposed to be valued at $129 and it was shockingly bad. The esthetician told me I didn't need to change out of my clothes or take my shoes off - even facials at strip mall nail salons have you change. She had me wash my own face, then did a half dead 20 min "facial" instead of whatever they advertised. My mom had the exact same experience here. I'm sure it will be closed down soon. The facialist seemed somewhat pleasant otherwise so no idea if management directed her to make anyone who came in with a discount voucher have such a useless experience but it certainly didn't do much to get new customers. read more

I just came to utopia to have a microneedling on my face and an ipl on my chest two 2 weeks ago and had a treatment by the new esthetician Natalie she's so detailed and knowledgeable. She helped me figure out what I could do to help with the sun damage on my chest it's so much more clear! I regret I haven't done it before! Dr. Franklin Rose is a phenomenal surgeon. He goes over everything with you before surgery, and he even took the time to answer my list of questions and concerns I had. I would recommend him for anything you want to have done. Did I mention Dr. Rose has the friendliest staff around and can answer any concerns you have. Brooke and Holly have a fantastic touch, and their bedside manner kept me at ease. Being a mother of three and all three being C-sections, this is one of the best decisions I could have ever made. The work I had done was a tummy tuck w/MR, a breast lift w/augmentation, 360 lipo, lipo of the jawline, inner and outer thighs, a BBL and a rhinoplasty all at the same time. I had a one night stay at First Street Hospital; where they took excellent care of me. After talking with Dr. Rose and his staff, I went into surgery with zero nervousness. I am currently two almost three weeks post op, and I am in love with my results! My family was surprised at how well I was moving around by day 3. I was preparing myself for excruciating pain mentally, and to my surprise, I barely felt any. I was off of all my pain meds by the mid of week two. I'm not even taking Tylenol anymore. Brooke is the BEST injector there is! She corrected a bad job I've had years ago when I got Voluma. She took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure to give me her professional opinion. This time she recommended Lyft and I didn't get bruised at all! The office staff and dr bed side manner is awful. I am writing this review after thinking long and hard. It is now four month past my breast operation. I still do not know what size breast implants I have. No one seems to know. I have stitch lost inside of which stabs me every time I turn to the left. I am overall happy with the procedure but still feel uncomfortable with the process. I had big hopes for this uptown park office. I'm regretting my decision. This place deserves NO stars if I could do that on YELP! I went here last year for a consultation, thinking that I would have my surgery here. The surgery I needed was to remove a keloid on my ear. Nothing fancy like a tummy tuck or augmentation, just cosmetic correction of my ear. Dr. Rose was nice and professional. So why the low rating? His staff should be replaced! Especially that blonde patient coordinator whose name I do not recall anymore. Her facial expressions do not change since she looks like a person who has had numerous Botox injections and work done to her face. I am glad the only thing I lost out on was my non-refundable consult fee of $95. Gladly lose that then to have gone through with the procedure here. Not once was I able to get in touch with these people about when to schedule the surgery. I think that was a sign from above telling me that this place was going to be bad news. After numerous calls and not ever speaking to the Plastic Face Patient Coordinator, I went somewhere else that was 100 times better. There is ALOT of mis-communication with the office and the surgical center that they perform the surgeries at. I had received a call from the surgical center randomly one day telling me I was coming in the next day for my surgery, which was never scheduled or communicated to me by Plastic Face! I told them that I was never scheduled and the surgical center told me that they get that alot from Utopia Med Spa. That they schedule patients there without their knowledge! I am not sure if Dr. Rose realizes that he is losing patients due to his awful Patient Coordinator and staff. I get that this is Uptown Park and it is all fancy, but the office is run with the lowest of low class folks. Thank goodness I took my business elsewhere. See my reviews for where I went. Reviewing ONLY the laser hair removal aspect of this business----I've had 5 laser hair removal appts, and every single one was re-scheduled by them. I would make an appointment 4-7 weeks in advance around my busy schedule, and they call a day or two before and say they can't honor the appt without explanation. If you value your time or are very busy, try another place that can keep appointments. Very frustrating. Bought a facial with a LivingSocial deal. They rescheduled me 3 times - some at the last minute! - due to the person doing the facial getting 'sick' (apparently they only have one). Finally came in at lunch, only to wait for 30 minutes. This is after a 10 minute wait at the front, as there were no one to greet the customers so a queue formed since people were waiting to be checked-in. When they finally called my name, they said the coupon was only good for a microderm. WHAT?!?! The coupon itself says "45 minute deep cleansing facial"! Out of frustration and wanting to get just some fractional value of the money, time, and effort I've invested - I agreed to the microderm. But I have filed a complaint with LivingSocial Side note - there were other people there to meet with Dr. Rose. One lady said she had a noon appointment, but was told in their system she was suppose to come in at 1 PM. She was advised to wait and she begrudgingly agreed because she said it takes months to get an appointment with him. While she left the office (I assume to get lunch/go shopping), another lady came in and they checked her in for a 1 PM appointment with Dr. Rose. So they intentionally double book people?! read more

Just like a prior review by another individual, I would give ZERO STARS if Yelp allowed us to do so! I purchased a Living Social deal for a "45 minute deep cleansing facial" scheduled an appointment for Nov. 21, 2014 around 4:00pm.. At the time I scheduled the appointment, I let them know about the Living Social, provided by voucher code, etc, was told to get there early to fill out some paperwork that was NOT available online. I told them I would be using the Living Social deal. The professionalism of whomever answers the offices phone is SLIM TO NONE. As someone who works in a plastic surgery and med spa office, you would think that these individuals would have better phone etiquette, pronunciation AND knowledge about what additional services are offered. NONE! I arrived at my appointment about 15 minutes early and it took 10 minutes for someone to "greet" me at the office AFTER several people walked in and out of the front waiting room several times. I assumed that when you see someone standing at your front desk, someone would say something. NOTHING. Once someone asked if I need something, I let them know my name and that I had an appointment for a facial. At that point, the incredibly unprofessional girl let me know that I would NOT be getting a facial because they could no offer that as they had some drama with their esthetician. HUMM. Would have been nice to know this prior to leaving the office early for a FACIAL. She asked that when I booked my appointment and/or when they confirmed my appointment if anyone talked to me about this. Well, unfortunately, no. As a result, she explained that they were giving microdermabrasion as a "substitute" and actually was an upgraded procedure. I decided that I would give it a try. After waiting a few minutes more, a different girl who didn't state her name and had an ice cold personality, took me back to a room. She reiterated about the esthetician, etc. She then let me know about the microdermabrasion and then an "illuminating chemical peel" that was an additional upgrade. I agreed to get the peel after she correctly said it was EITHER procedure, not both. I said that was fine. She proceeded to tell me to wash my own makeup off, tossed a towel on the doctor-like chair and walked out of the room. Side note: I worked at an Esthetician office prior to my undergraduate studies at Texas A&M AND this would have never happened. She came back in the room, applied something with a cotton ball and 3 minutes later I was "done." Given that I am NOT an Esthetician , I couldn't say this isn't right, but as someone who has had facials and peels before.....it certainly did NOT last 5 minutes. There is obviously a reason there wasn't not one customer in the waiting room or out front in the parking area while I was there. Another girl came into the office as I was leaving and canceled her appointment because of the "switcheroo" of the Living Social deal. I would NEVER recommend coming back to this office. Don't let the Uptown location fool you! Book your services elsewhere so that you can get great customer service from educated office people! read more
