Low key comfort food in the form of grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken noodle soup. We met here for a work meeting, snd were given the whole back room AND excellent service. A true find in Troy, NY with good coffee, sweets, & local crafts.

There is a long coffee flag so that's when you know that you are in the correct place. The different name on the building through me off. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating. We were greeted and given menus which we then found a high top table, sat down and looked it over. We decided on the Alyssa crepes and morning glory sandwich. Allysa crepe- I would have ordered another plate if we didn't have another 2 hr drive to go. Between the fluffy eggs and the combination of the ingredients with absolutely mouth watering. I asked for hot sauce and it was complete. I would drive out of my way to come back here again. Morning glory sandwich- I don't know who raised these chickens to give such a different taste to them, but they were raised right. These were definitely happy chickens. Hard to explain but this sandwich and those fluffy eggs will keep you wanting more. Everyone there is so sweet and I'm happy to have had the experience of such an excellent breakfast. This is a rare find and I will be revisiting again.

The woman working…read morethe order line was genuinely helpful and took the time to walk us through the menu, including explaining the higher-caffeine options, which I appreciated. I ordered a hot coffee and my wife got an iced one, both were excellent and I'd absolutely order the same drinks again. When my wife mentioned it was her birthday, the barista surprised us by comping one of the coffees. That small gesture made her feel really valued and set the tone for the rest of the visit. She was super happy, and it turned a first stop into a "we'll definitely be back" moment. I'll admit I usually don't love drive-through spots because they can feel rushed or high pressure, especially when it's your first time. But the low-key conversation and relaxed approach here made it easy. Even with the line moving, it never felt stressful. Great people, great coffee. Definitely worth stopping, even if you're not usually a drive-through person.

The bigger challenge for me was the layout and ordering process. The location is drive-through only and the traffic flow felt pretty hectic with cars trying to move in different directions. It made the experience feel rushed and a little stressful, especially for someone visiting for the first time. I was also expecting the drizzle and toppings shown in the menu photos, but my drink didn't include them, so it ended up tasting more like a basic iced coffee. The staff member who took my order was polite, but everything moved quickly and there isn't much of a menu to review unless you look it up online beforehand. Overall, the coffee was decent, but the traffic setup and ordering experience made the visit less enjoyable than expected.

I decided then that I'd be back, so when my daughters asked where I wanted to go for my birthday it was an easy choice. I mean, what a unique opportunity to dine, within walking distance of several working pottery shops! Here's what we had: Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte, S'mores latte, Brown sugar shaken espresso. All delicious! Details: The coffee beans are from Foster Hobbs Coffee Roasters. The majority of the cafe sauces and powders used in their lattes are house-made because their values include having good ingredients in their food and drinks. My personal favorite is the cinnamon roll and I got it as my "birthday cake". Fun right?! Always so good! I recommend the Egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit. You can get flavorful protein and a filling meal in this breakfast sandwich. Pumpkin protein gluten-free and dairy-free is packed with protein and a warm inviting taste. Pairs well with a latte! Blueberry muffin, it's hard to go wrong with a muffin filled with blueberries. The surprise of the day was the Chicken Salad Wrap. Spinach wrap with a healthy serving of lettuce and the yummiest chicken salad! Seagrove Cafe is a great locally owned spot that serves the community and the many visitors that come through the area looking for some of the best pottery in the world! This gas station turned cafe is decorated to provide a warm inviting atmosphere where you can stay awhile or take a meal or with good ingredients to go. I've met and spoken with both the owners and they have such a great story of how they started the cafe just a little over a year ago! Stop by and say, Hi to them and the amazing staff! I'm already looking forward to our next visit!
