Barry truly listened to what I wanted, then submitted his designs and invited me to his showroom where we worked together to modify the plan until it was perfect. His innovative suggestions and willingness to consider even the craziest ideas resulted in a small walk-in closet resembling a high-end boutique. Oh, it wasn't simply the closet that he built. Once I made my decision to go with Brad and his crew, they were ready to go when I was. He had people here on time and on schedule throughout the project. I just got to come home each day to see the progress while I was at work. They finished in about 6 weeks, just before Christmas. Gary was very professional, always on time, managed his great sub contractors very well and was open to suggestions for changes. He was especially good at being able to tell us what would or wouldn't work with the construction and design of our project. We added a mud room, an additional bay to our garage, we pushed out the back wall in the kitchen and made a master bath suite. I loved working with his carpenter Brandt who could pretty much build anything I asked! He did a beautiful range hood for us and a number of gorgeous build ins throughout. We did a top to bottom remodel and Gary got me in touch with a great sub-contractors who did a wonderful job with re-design (we pushed out our back wall and expanded our master bath), structural engineering and construction, kitchen design, carpentry, flooring, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. His carpenter Brandt helped make our vision of beautiful build ins (entertainment centers, bookshelves) and a custom range hood a reality (not to mention the beautiful build ins all the bedroom closets). After explaining the problem to him, he gave great advise and a time estimate based on what I told him about the problem (etched limestone). He got great ratings and reviews on HomeAdvisor so I thought I would give him a go. Upon arrival it was just him, no flunkies. He did not have huge, expensive equipment. I would even call him "old school" but the man knows his business. He is the type of artisan you would expect to see from a family owned business that has been at it for generations. He spoke as he worked, explaining as he restored. He even gave me his home recipe for making a paste to remove stubborn stains if this were to arise in the future. He never tried to sell products or services I did not need. He completed the job slightly under his time estimate. Important because he charges by the hour. And the results . . . nothing short of superb!!! My wife was so pleased, I wanted to accept the credit. The job was labor intensive and I am happy I did not attempt it myself. He made it look easy but when I attempted a simple application of a sealer . . . definitely not as easy as he made it look. The counter tops are now stunning and new looking. Whats more is now I have the knowledge to keep them that way. Vincent is accessible for questions should they arise after he completes the job. And the estimates I obtained from the big companies were twice as much. If you are in need of stone resurfacing or stain removal, Vincenzo's should be your go-to contractor!
