On Sunday evening I decided to install a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms but there's not fixture there. Jason responded quickly and after discussing, said they could get it done on the same day. John and his apprentice showed up at the earlier portion of the promised time. John checked out the garage and the bedroom along with the attic access, laid out for me what they were going to do, and got to work. The work was absolutely professional. The service man came and looked at it, said it was a problem with the stator and rotor, not worth repairing. Warranty expired. I spoke briefly, once, with Sean O'Neill on the phone about it. He said he could send me a proposal for a new generator -- but he didn't offer to look at the old one, didn't even disconnect it, wouldn't talk about it. Then he didn't respond to my phone calls, and neither did Barbara in the office. So I have this dead generator in my yard still connected to the electrical panel. Now I have to wonder if it was even serviced properly. My advice: Do not buy a home standby generator from O'Neill.

More recently, a track lighting fixture very high up on a cathedral ceiling stopped working, We made an appointment for All Wright to come to fix this. We told them that the fixture was very high up and suggested that they bring an extra long ladder. We were told that one of their technicians would be in our area the next day and would stop by. He said that they fixture was not the problem but that it was a problem with the switch on the wall. When the second technician came, he failed to bring the correct switch and told us to call the office to arrange a follow up appointment. The third guy arrived with the wrong switch but was able to run to our near-by hardward store and buy the correct switch. Imagine our surprise when All Wright charged us for this visit. We ended up paying almost $600 to replace a switch.

We were concerned as we watched the technician and asked him how long he'd been with Flynn-Aire. He answered 8 months. ( for this level of expertise we paid $350) After a cursory check on our system the technician said everything was fine, and he left. Two hours later we went upstairs where to our horror water was dripping from the unit in our attic along the ceiling, onto our carpeting and into our chandelier. After two phone calls Flynn-Aire dispatched a second technician who glued the pipe that had been damaged by technician #1 and told us we would be contacted by Flynn since they had "a Sheetrock Guy" who could repair the damage. And then - crickets. No call from Flynn-Aire. Today is August 7, we have repeatedly called to speak to the owner, Bob Von Hagen, but he obviously has "Colleen" running interference and we have not heard from him. We have pictures to support our statement. We leave the decision on whether or not to use Flynn-Aire for your air conditioning needs to you. Count us as a former client.

This business engages in fraudulent billing and will not rectify their bills. They charged $4.13/gallon for one tank, but in the same trip will charge $4.86 for the second tank. If you check around, there are other companies that bill only $3/gallon. One day in November they came and filled up our tanks. Then 3 days later they came and claimed they had to fill them up again. We have called over 8 times to resolve the issues, but each time we are put on hold and nothing happens, but we get late fees. Do not use this company.

THEN the company sends me a bill for a balance to recoup the "discount" they had given me. When I said I thought they should honor what they had offered, they got nasty.
