Used Big Sky for a big job recently. Before moving in, Jason's crew upgraded the panel, rewired some appliances, added a ton of high hats and fixures where no prior wires existed in the ceilings, etc... we were very pleased! Every single one of Jason's crew members, as well as Jason's, were respectful and kind.... just decent people... every one. The damage left was minimal and way less than we expected. Jason and team installed 8 light fixtures + 3 LED recessed lights for us, including one 130 pound high chandelier and one 90 pound two chain fixture. The chandelier requires additional work in the attic to make sure it can hold the weight. They were very profession and efficient, and cleaned up everything when done. The entire projects were done within 6 hours and everything is perfectly installed. Some of the new lights that we bought have smaller base compared to the old ones, Jason even helped bring in professional to fix the gap and really offered one-stop experience. Big Sky hung the fan perfectly and disposed of the old one. They put everything back into place as if they had never been there. My mom's 1950's main breaker finally kicked the curb and she was without power. I called these guys and they got a truck over and had the job finished within 3 hours of my initial phone call. My mom said they were extremely nice. They even crawled through the basement windows to avoid trudging dirt through the house (we didn't ask them to do that). Sunday May 23rd, 2021 I had a large tree branch fall on power line leading to my house while some trees were being removed and bent the mast to my house to about 90 degrees. Line started to smoke as it got pinched. Siding got ripped and wire was hanging dangerously low to the ground. I called PSE&G. (Useless) I am pretty desperate for some help. I randomly Google electrician and find Big Sky and their owner Jason. Big Sky had 14 previous 5 star ratings on Google/Yelp so why not give them a shot late afternoon on a Sunday. Jason picks up the phone at about 6:30 and spends probably 45 minutes speaking with me, looking at pictures I sent him and even face timing with me so he can evaluate my electrical situation. I was scared for my families safety of course. He assured me it was safe, quoted a price based on what he could see but also said it could cost a bit more money if the wire needed to be changed out. We touched base in morning and he dispatched his crew. His team of Vinny and Riecar show up next day around 2 pm which was earlier than promised and job was completed perfectly within 2 hours at the exact price discussed the evening before. They worked clean, they worked safe as I hovered around them keeping an eye on things as I often do when I hire people to work around my house.
