The water circuit consists of a three step process that will promote relaxation and wellness. First, begin with either a hot sauna or steam bath, this helps improve circulation and promote detoxification. Next you transition to a cold plunge, to help boost some of those good endorphins and reduce inflammation. Next you want to relax. They have a bunch of areas to chill out and lounge around. The resting is important as it helps your body stabilize. Once you've rested, repeat! Or if you're like us.. go back to your favorite spots. After a couple cycles, we had appointments for some spa treatments. I got lymphatic drainage, which was SO relaxing, and Caleb got a deep tissue massage. This was the perfect add on! The one recommendation I do have, is before having a spa treatment, go change out of your wet bathing suit and into something dry. Putting on a wet cold bathing suit after a relaxing massage was... unpleasant. My own fault! Bring a book and sit on the decks to soak up the sun and enjoy your relaxation steps. The facility is well maintained and clean, and the changing rooms are great. We truly enjoyed this experience and it was such a unique thing to do in Montreal. The fact that this spa is on a boat and half of it was outdoors was the appeal! So we booked just the water circuit (no extras, just saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs) to see if this was even something we'd like. Turns out the December visit was the way to go! It wasn't packed at all, and turns out that sitting in a hot tub while the snow falls on your face is actually a top ten life experience. It was cold as heck out, mind you, but somehow you never feel chilly when you're going in and out of saunas and hot tubs. I did wish some of the relaxation rooms were a bit warmer, or there was an ability to swap out a soaking towel at some point, but I was never uncomfortable. Everything was clean and people around us were respectful. I loved the no phone policy and definitely chilled out to staring into this strangely brutalist bay. David Lynch relaxation vibes. The best was the floor where you could sit in a porthole window -- only wish we had discovered it earlier! I would totally come back here and check out some of their other offerings. Dunno, might even aim for a winter trip again because it was just that nice!

The lady was nice she asked me to pay the taxes on the deal and the lady who did the laser did a good job. But that was it, once they got my money they don't care anymore. For the second appointment there was another girl who did the laser. Initially I thought she was the cleaning lady (since she was mopping the floor when I went in) but she came in and start using the equipment. She did the whole of my thighs (both) in less than 10 minutes .. which is not realistic. It obviously wasn't as effective as the first time and the hair grew back quickly. And to add to all this when you call them for appointments they always say they are full because they don't want to come back soon (since you've already paid them). I am totally disgusted with this place, but i have to finish my sessions which ends in july! cant wait!!!! I have spoken to other clients while in the waiting room...and we all felt the same way about the owner being so rude and cold. Staff do NOT seem happy there. Nobody smiles. Plus the bonus is the gift wrapping even when it's not Christmas They are really nice girls and treat everyone equally! I always shop here for gifts!

I have been visiting this salon for over 10 years and when the owner changed (less than 1 year ago) I was very upset because Kim was a very nice and professional master. But after I was assured on the phone that everything would be done no worse, I came and was really very happy with the result. Lam is a very qualified master!!! And all the more so, all the subsequent events look very dirty and dishonest! I have been using acrylic nails for over 20 years due to necessity. Depending on time and money, I visit the salon not every 2 weeks (as RECOMMENDED, not REQUIRED), but usually 4-6 weeks. And I have never had any problems with even a less qualified technician. I sometimes did nail renewal once a year and everything was fine and everyone was happy! I had a normal relationship with Lam, or so it seemed to me. One day he decided to change my nails, although I asked him to do only a refill, I was surprised, but kept quiet. And in vain. And then at the beginning of December I noticed that he was doing a refill in some other technique. When saying goodbye, I said that I would come before the New Year. Lam, laughing, answered that "we will see each other soon". A week later, 2 of my nails flew off, for no reason. When I came, he just hid and another girl did these nails for me. I paid, since it was not her fault. A week later, I lost 2 more nails! Apparently, this is how Mr. Lam decided to fix the problem of frequency of visits and earning money!!! When I came to the salon, he was busy with another client and I said that I would wait. When he was free and I started making claims against him, he started running around the salon and yelling that I come once every 3-4 months and that's why my nails are falling off. But this is complete nonsense!!! Everyone who does this procedure understands that it is impossible. In the end, he said that he would not do anything and that I should go to another salon. How is that? I sat for an hour and should leave with nothing? Then another master did everything for me, I paid, although she did not want to take it (Lam said not to take it). But I also do not want to be indebted to a dishonest person. Lam is also dishonest in that he never talks about a 15% discount at the beginning of the week! It has already been written here (in previous reviews) about the violation of work ethics. Here there is simply a rude attitude towards clients and impudence in making money by any means. I think this case deserves publicity in consumer protection agencies! And I will try to do everything so that this person loses his license to provide services. I do not recommend this salon to anyone! And I will wait until a more adequate owner appears there!
