My concerns were dismissed in a rude and unfriendly way. Instead, they were taken personally by the manager I spoke with, who condescendingly explained the issue with my copay was "bad insurance". This manager did not take the time to listen to my actual issue, which was confusion as to why my copay was increasing, when I had fought for weeks to have it covered at a certain price. He never resolved my issue, or took any sort of responsibility or care to helping me fix my issue. I contacted my insurance personally and will be filling my prescription at another pharmacy - I suggest you do the same.

This is like and old fashioned, small town pharmacy where you get very personalized service. Al, the owner, makes sure to tell you everything you need to know about your prescriptions. He saved us money on our prescriptions and if there was something he didn't have, would help us find the best price somewhere else. Even though he keeps bankers hours, which we understand because he is an independent instead of the big box type of pharmacy, we feel that it is worth the slight time inconvenience for the personal concierge type service we get here. I read the back and it said they were family owned and operated which I ALWAYS try and support local businesses over in my case, Walgreens. My doctor told me they would call me and be sure and answer the number however I was anxious to get started so i called them. A very nice woman answered the phone and I explained why I was calling and she checked and said that the did not have my script yet. She said no worries that they had Dr. Fansler's cell phone. and would call her. Not 10 minutes went by and the pharmacist called me and very patiently explained everything I needed to know since this was new for me. I asked if it would be Monday before it would be ready and said that they could have it ready in about 30 minutes. So I was out and about and headed right over. The girls were so nice and patient and Kimber tooknthe extra effort to ensure I was informed about what I would be doing. I left and had to pick up a RX at Walgreens hopefully for the last time because they offer the opportunity to match or beat what I am paying. I dread dealing with Walgreens every month because it is a nightmare trying to get through to the pharmacy and then there is always a wait at. the drive thru.
