Every single one of them was bent. The card-stock was also loaded into the printer incorrectly because it printed on an angle. I called 2.5 hrs after text message that they had my Rx and it still wasn't ready. I'm pretty sick. I called Walmart on Gandy to transfer it and Walgreens didn't respond. The worst pharmacy customer service I have ever experienced. At 9:00 am this morning when I stopped there I was told my wife's prescription would be ready after 11:30am. When my friend who was in the area stopped by to pick it up around 3.30 pm she was told the only prescription they had was picked up two days prior. I have been trying to get through to the pharmacy for 50 minutes. I keep getting transferred in their automated phone system. I emailed her doctor to call the prescription into another pharmacy. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again.! One star is too good a rating for them! read more

Very disappointed with pharmacy service. The website gives you very ambiguous information as to the status of your rx. If you try to call you end up being on hold for 30 min or longer only to find out that that the rx you take regularly is out of stock and they don't know when more will be coming in. I have ordered medicine for a severe eye infection and can't drive there to pick up. My eyes are very swollen so I paid for Delivery and paid a tip for the courier. The medicine showed it would be delivered by 6PM yesterday and it shows Filled and waiting for Delivery yesterday. Never got delivered yesterday as originally promised. We had a good experience here. I needed to grab a gift bag for a present that I was giving to a friend at an event nearby. This location was just around the corner, so it was convenient. They have a decent sized parking lot so it was easy to get in and out. The store is laid out just like most others for this chain. There was a well-sized section for cards / gifts. I like that they sell bags with tissue already in it - super handy for a rush gift need like mine. The staff was very friendly and talked with me and my munchkin. They had a well organized store and were working on putting out Halloween items at the time. It looked nice and everything was easy to find. Overall: A Convenient store with easy gift options and nice staff. Quick in and out and got what I needed. read more

The photo online doesn't state it on the bottle however with the bottle in front of my face I clearly can read that THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA. Walked here from my hotel to get a travel sized can of Axe body spray (because that's how I roll) and a birthday card, which is going to be late but it's the thought that counts. Anyway, I walked in and no fewer than three employees greeted me and offered assistance. I found everything I needed and checkout was fast and friendly. The store was clean and organized. They were super busy, evidently ALL day. I'm in from out of town and spoke with my local pharmacy to transfer just one day / pill to this location. I was repeatedly put on hold, so I left my convention and walked. After waiting in line at the actual pharmacy, I was mistakenly told my original pharmacy needed to call them AND I had to call or come back after 3:00 when the next pharmacist would be on duty. This review is based solely on the pharmacy. This is by far the worst pharmacy that I've ever filled prescriptions at and that's hard for me to say as I'm a pharmacist too and usually have sympathy for retail pharmacies. I called to try to give them my insurance info and they wouldn't take it over the phone. I was told just to bring it. Clearly taking it over the phone is a time saver. I told them my doctor called in an rx and it's probably on the voicemail and I will need it as soon as possible as it was for an emergent situation. They gave us a time and then when we got there it wasn't ready. I even got a text saying it was ready but only one item was ready. Not an efficient process or workers that are paying attention to detail. Paying attention to detail is a very important aspect of pharmacy and quality. I can't say if it's because the staff is overworked or overwhelmed but pharmacy is a business of customer service and doing what is right for your patients and they clearly do not care about their patients. I only had prescriptions called in because it was the closest open pharmacy to my home. I will never make that mistake again. In fact, getting it called in to a farther pharmacy with better service would take much less time anyway. read more

We went to the Walgreens on 2115 E Hillsborough Ave Tampa, Fl to pick up my pictures this evening and we were disappointe. The cashier was taken care of a customer that took forever, and the line was long. We were waiting patiently at the pickup counter for pictures. The cashier called for help, a man came out passed us 3 times. He proceeded to take care of a customer in line, then he told the cashier to go on break, she passed by us and asked if anyone was helping us, I told her No. We told her he passed us 3 times, and did not want to help us, and it's been 24 minutes waiting. He yelled at us saying someone coming, I said when tomorrow. We were upset! Poor customer service skills! No apologies, no care in the world!! We left!!! This is the worst pharmacy in Tampa and possibly in all of America if that's saying anything. They're always out of your medication, if they do happen to have it, it still takes days to fill, or they've misplaced it and need to look for an hour to find it. They are the most unhelpful, rude staff which is highly frustrating not only during a pandemic but also in general because they're working in the medical field and carelessly doing their job. If you have any serious medical problems you will want a different pharmacy if you value getting your timely medication and proper care. I have never written a Yelp review because I usually am not bothered by much but they have wasted way too much of my time and energy. This shit show is a nightmare. Pharmacist should be fired!! I am a physician and she tried to tell me my meds that I have been on 6 yrs is "a new med and needs ordered"... Also my text from Walgreens said "available for pick up 10:40 am". At 4:00 pm she said "thats just an estimate "- she got confrontational with me telling me she was "also a doctor"...please...you count pills at a chain store...if you were smart you would have fixed the problem in stead of lying to me. The pharmacy here is an unpleasant experience. Every time I go in to get my medications there is an issue that I have to wait for them to figure out. I go to another Walgreens closer to my house but this one is closer to my work and is used for only one medication. Switching everything over to the other pharmacy now. This Walgreens always tells me my insurance isn't on file or that they don't see any medication in my profile when the other Walgreens never has any issues with my insurance information or medication scripts. Very very disappointed and surprised this pharmacy still has business. Not to mention the pharmacist is rude and would not allow me to leave and pick up my medication at a different location. She said "I am very good with insurance. If I can't figure it out then no one can. Trust me" when I said I was going to go to the other Walgreens pharmacy to ensure they still had all of my insurance information because she claimed they did not. My God this place has gotten SO BAD. No one that works there wants to help or get off their phone or do their job. Photos are always lost or not processed. Prescriptions are always backed up for days. FedEx drop off- no one comes to help. HORRIBLE. Pharmacy staff 5 stars. The one star rating is for the leadership of Walgreens for poor management in not staffing properly. We frequent Walgreens on Platt a couple of times a week mostly for the pharmacy. The pharmacists and technicians are always exceptional. I have found them to be knowledgeable; helpful; and pleasant. A special mention for Cali - she is always willing to go the extra step to help anyway possible. I trust this team of people. This is also where I get my flu shot and pneumonia shot. This store is open 24 hours a day, but does not have a 24 hour pharmacy. And this store is never staffed properly. It is incredible to watch how hard the pharmacy has to work to take care of customers. They are always focused on the work. This store is very busy. We notice that this seems to be a common thread at other Walgreens in South TAMPA. You can't even get help on the phone. The store on Henderson - evening staff has a history of just letting the phone ring and literally hanging up rather than connecting a customer to the pharmacy. In person, they are rude - including the manager. I would ask the leadership of Walgreens to please staff properly for customers and out of respect and care for your employees! This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. From the pharmacy to the front, the place is a complete disaster. Every time I have been to this pharmacy there are issues. Every. Single. Time. They can't fill the prescription because they have to call the doctors office, they can't fill it because they don't have the medication, they can't fill it because the pharmacist is out on the floor (seriously). I've never had a worse pharmacy experience. It's unbelievable how dysfunctional they are. Avoid at all cost. The store itself is a dirty mess. This Walgreens is in walking distance to UT, so a lot of college students come here to grab a toothbrush, etc. There are some homeless people who hang out outside due to its close location to downtown Tampa. I had a friend who used to work with. He used to act silly on the intercom which was always fun. I think everyone enjoyed the easygoingness of this location. The location is clean.
