They still charged him the $1 for the instant check. I went the next day and was denied cuz I didn't have a RealID or a birth certificate. I reviewed the laws before going to ensure I was compliant. After being denied I asked if that was corporate or store policy which they denied. They said it was state law. My understanding is RealID is only required at gun shows. The big irony is I've purchased 2 guns from this store. Don't go here for guns or ammunition.

Up here in San Diego there are tons of tactical stores so I was very surprised to hear about their great customer service. So I got to BT and it was two businesses in one location. I couldn't believe how big the store was plus they have a shooting range. I came in there to pick up an extra magazine so I didn't spend much time in there. I didn't know where the magazines were so I asked and the customer service guy was very very friendly. He spoke to me about some hollow points ammo for home defense and he was very knowledgeable. Also he was dressed to impress which is crazy rare where I'm from. I just bought my magazine for my .40 cal but also thought about what the guy was telling me . When I come back to El Centro I will definitely shop here again without a doubt. I wish there were tactical stores like BT in San Diego and I my even shoot at their range next time.
