Came here with my husband to treat ourselves to pedicures. They were able to attend to us almost immediately which was great! Tina was funny and paid attention to detail. When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady and I was only coming to get set and pedicure whuch Tina did a great job on my pedicure and every one did a great job on my nails . Looking to get a manicure/pedicure on a Sunday, I saw they were open, called to make a morning reservation, and was told to just come in as nobody was there. I love having a salon to myself! Everyone that came near me was gloved and masked, and they even had a partition set up between me and my technician. They also had movable partitions available to set between clients, if needed. I brought my own polish for my pedicure, and then looked through their selection for gel manicure. Not a huge selection of colors, but a good sampling of many. They did not have any OPI polishes (which I prefer) so I ended up with a cheaper brand, which are usually not my favorites. In fact, when my technician opened the polish color I chose, I could see that it was gloppy, and she was trying to fix it. As a result, I feel like like the layers went on thicker than I prefer. She also, by accident, nipped one of my cuticles and drew blood. I understand this happens, it's just that unfortunately five days later my thumb is still irritated. All in all a good experience; reasonably priced, plenty of parking, and a detail-oriented technician, so I would definitely go back. read more

Tried to cancel night before but said I had to call or email to cancel, I had no choice but to wait til morning . Received call at 9:30 am which I planned on calling to cancel told her I wanted to cancel and she said "did I book for fun" I was taken back I said "no"and angrily she said " well why did you book?!" When I first came to this place, I was looking for a nail salon for immediate service. I was taken in without appointment and I loved it. My first nail technician was a Spanish speaking lady, She doesn't work there anymore, but my nails were perfect. Since then, I've been a loyal customer. After that, I've gotten lucky to get Jimmy as my nail technician. Jimmy has a keen eye for imperfections, and fixes any mistakes he mades. I stopped by yesterday and there was definitely this nail salon here, but their sign still says one world nail salon...so I'm puzzled. I'm guessing they're in the process of updating their signage and store front. Anyway, I stopped by for a mani-pedi yesterday and was very impressed. I got the $35 pedicure which one step up from their basic $25 one and came with the standard foot/nail trimming and brushing, an orange sugar scrub, a mud mask, lotion massage, hot stone massage, and collagen sock treatment all on top of a polish-- I felt so pampered. Some people on here for the old one world salon complained about it taking too long, but I was there to relax and didn't want it to end! Kim was delightful and very kind for not laughing at me for giggling like a schoolchild when the pumice stone touched my heel. She also did a painstakingly thorough job on my fingers, as I picked a gel color that is difficult to make look even-- I felt so terrible for making it complicated. But in the end my toes and fingers both looked and felt great! Everyone at the salon was pleasant, courteous, and welcoming. Started coming here with strong, healthy nails. After two full sets, my nails are weak, brittle, and broken. They do not take care of your natural nails nor do they pay attention to detail. The gel on my toes was applied uneven and chipped easily, and the acrylic on my nails was chunky and shaped poorly. My nails were done sloppily and broke easily. Two of my nails broke halfway down my nail bed. You're supposed to get a refill/ full set because your nails have grown out, not because they all break off and your natural nails are too ugly to leave out. I am soooo beyond disappointed......I went here on an overnight as a flight attendant and was going to recommend Benjamin to everyone! My nails looked so amazing!! Brought my boyfriend in here while on vacation for his first pedicure ever. We came on a early Monday afternoon and there were 2 other customers. The employees were so friendly and made my boyfriend feel comfortable and welcome (he was really nervous!). the basic pedicure ($25) lasted about 40 min with a great massage and hot towel.
