Went for the first time. Went early in the morning on Saturday so the guy took his time. I will definitely go back. Update Update. I have gotten my nails done about 3 times now at The Nail Spot. Their seems to be only 2 employees that I have witnessed working there. They both try their hardest to help you pick the colors you want and don't push you in to getting anything you don't want. I get a pedicure and dip nails. I think the guy does a wonderful job. And he will bring your nail vision to life. He also likes to sing love songs. I join in sometimes. The female is very nice to but I need to tell her the next time I go to not the cut the sides of my big toe nail as you know it can cause in grown toe nails. Other then that she is great and gives a decent little foot massage. My toe nails always look cute when she is done. The place is clean. I have witnessed, several times, them cleaning their instruments. The dip is supposed to last about 3 weeks, but if my pointer finger starts to pop off (bc its used the most) I go right in and they fix it for free. They want my business and I will keep going bc they are sweet and I love my nails. read more

I am the absolute pickiest when it comes to getting my nails done. So much so that I bought my own gel lamp and so my nails myself at home. Ahead of the holiday season, I popped into TNS for a dip manicure and got, literally, the best dip manicure I have ever had. I am HARD on my nails: outside work, CrossFit, gardening, cleaning, etc. and these lasted 3 weeks without any issue. If my nail beds weren't so long, I would have let them go longer! I will definitely be back and really appreciate the level of service. read more

The Nail Spot is my go-to nail place! The staff is so friendly, and it is very clean. I really like that they use liners in the pedicure tubs. They also have soo many different colors to choose from. They have over 100 OPI colors, which are my favorite to choose from, and they have just as many SNS colors too! If you're looking for a great SNS manicure, Joe is the absolute best! Update! I got my nails done by Val with SNS when my nails were super short. 4 weeks later the SNS was still perfect with no chips, just grown out so I came back and Val did an amazing job, again! Since my natural nails grew out (strong and healthy bc of her), she was able to shape them beautifully! I'm obsessed with them! read more

The nail tech really took his time when it came to my full set manicure. This was the first place I noticed that displayed a sign on the different shapes customers can get their nails done. I got my nails to be shaped almond, and they turned out stunning! I also received a pedicure that included a very long and relaxing foot massage as well as scrub. This nail tech was thorough and did not rush me either. I spent a total of three hours there to get a full set of acrylics and a pedicure with regular nail polish. Oh, and they even changed the TV channel for me when I had to switch chairs from manicure to pedicure station! There was only one other customer while I was there, so they probably didn't mind letting me finish watching the episode of Love It or List It. They offered the dip powder and gel as well if you do not like to get regular polish. I will for sure come back to this facility to get my nails done next time I am in Tampa! I guess I came when they were tired and busy one Friday afternoon. It seemed like doing my nails and waxing was an inconvenience to them - they seemed tired and kept yawning not really interested. The space was kind of dingy and I won't be going back again. When I have a service done I'm spending hard earned money and I would like someone to look interested in what they are doing not like I'm an inconvenience and irritant to them getting home on time. read more

Tina, is the best, she did my nails perfectly and made them exactly the way I wanted them I get the SNS Dip in gel powder, which not many salons have known how to do correctly it makes a difference when they don't add the " clear gel polish " top coat, the nails actually don't chip. I think most salons BESIDES "the nail spot/luxor nails" use that to get you back in or don't know that the correct way to do SNS you don't need the clear gel polish with uv/led light to keep them shiny. They last longer and are more shiny than gel polish if you do all the dip in powder steps. Ive never left this salon unhappy with my nails. Tina is great. read more

FALSE ADVERTISING: After seeing their ad for a $30 mani/pedi I decided to give this place a try. Upon checking in, I mentioned how I'd like to try their $30 mani/pedi special and complimented their signage/special. When I sat down, they asked which kind of pedicure I wanted, which I then reminded that I was there for the special, so whatever came with that. To my surprise, when I went to check out, they charged me $30 for the pedicure and $10 for the manicure. I again stated, that I asked for the special which they then said that there was a "misunderstanding" on their end and that the total was $40. Well, that's too bad for them; due to their dishonesty, they lost a monthly customer, just to gain $10 for one day. I don't do business with people that are not honest, and this is a place that is clearly lacking customer service and integrity. I'd be very cautious with visiting this location. read more
